  1. I only ever seen that at European games. I was too tight to chuck my scarf to anyone
  2. He reminds me a bit of Prso. I think his best position is coming in from the right rather than being played through the middle.
  3. To be honest, I expected the bolded before now I've almost always been in the Enclosure (on the occasions I attend these days) but I quite enjoyed the view from being higher up and being nearer the away fans. Suppose the Copland is an option now that they seem to have found their voice
  4. It does seem daft as when you look at the seating plan you can see individual seats that are available within the rows.
  5. This. I used to have a season ticket in the West Enclosure and the view was shite when we were shooting towards the Copland Road but it was worthwhile because the away fans were just across from us in BF1 so there was a bit of....'banter' to keep things interesting
  6. As I said in my post there were quite a few folk there without kids so it all seems very random as to whether they let you buy a single adult ticket there or not.
  7. Got a quick question about this. Ended up in BR3 for the St Mirren game. I'm aware it's the family section but there were quite a few other people there without kids. I seen there were some individual seats available in the same section for the Hibs game but when I phoned the ticket office they said it was for families only and I shouldn't have been sold a ticket there previously. Obviously I can get a ticket somewhere else but I actually quite enjoyed the atmosphere and the view up there. I'll probably end up in the enclosure again but is it the case they sold a lot of tickets there incorrectly for the St mirren game or am I getting duff info from the ticket office?
  8. I'm sure I read Murdoch or Warburton mentioning the possibility of a loan deal for him. Would be ideal.
  9. It actually suits me better than a 3pm Saturday kick off. As I've got older my social life has changed from a Saturday night out to a Saturday afternoon in the boozer so this was ideal. The Hibs game being on a Sunday suits me as well.
  10. Nice stats but I think they do hide one important point. When you kick it long you you may give possession away a lot more but that possession is likely to be in a less dangerous place than when you play it out short from the back. When you get caught out with the short passes it's likely to lead to someone having a clear run on goal or a 1 on 1 with a defender. In saying that though I still like this approach even if I do think it's gonna lead to a lot of heart in mouth situations throughout the season.
  11. Very nice article. It's noticeable just how much positivity there is around what's happeninng both on and off the park. Changed days indeed.
  12. This is one of the things I noticed as well. The crowd were cutting the players a lot of slack when things weren't coming off rather than getting on their backs. It was good to see.
  13. Ha, that lassie was standing just along from me last night. She had a home made banner with her as well but I couldn't see what it said.
  14. Most of the long passing was switching the play to the other side of the park rather than humping it up the park.
  15. Was a roaster behind me in BR3 with 2 young kids who criticised absoultey everything we done. To be fair he wasn't loud and he wasn't abusive but it was just constant moaning and negativity.
  16. It was great to hear the atmosphere at the end of the game as well. Even when the subway loyal had left there was still a fair old racket from those who remained.
  17. It's a change seeing a keeper coming out and catching crosses and it's something that will serve us well in this league. With regards to the kicking, he's obviously under instructions to play it short all the time but opposition teams have already picked up on this and started closing down defenders as soon as the keeper has the ball at his feet. He needs to mix it up and get it up the park now and again ,especially if the opposition are pressing high up the park and leaving gaps further back. I know this goes against the style of football Warburton wants (and the us fans as well to be honest) but sometimes it's a case of safety first and being a bit pragmatic about it.
  18. Re the restricted view seats, if you go online to the stadium plan there's also a selection that shows you the actual view from each area so that will give you an idea what the restriction is.
  19. Went to buy a ticket online and it appears the Sandy Jardine and Copland are sold out. Settled for Broomloam rear and the number of seats available there are well down on a few days. Definitely looks as though there will be at least 45k there. Hope I'm right
