  1. Looks as though we could have a few crackers from Halliday this season
  2. I wouldn't be concerned about them. They haven't been stockpiling cash and will take a hit this year financially. They've also got an outstanding loan that is due a final repayment of £12.4m by July 2019.
  3. Wilson has a fair bit of experience and Kiernon will add to his with playing time this season. We have Weir there to help them out if need be (off the park obviously)
  4. Getting players who are unlikey to feature off the wage bill can only be a good thing and if more youngsters are going out on loan even better. I'd like to see Templeton go as well, he's nver done anything to convince me he's good enough (or likely to stay injury free long enough)
  5. I definitely think we'll stick ten past a team this season, it's only a matter of time.
  6. With regards to what we'll need I don't think we'll really know for a bit yet. It's still too early to tell which of the current squad are going to be good enough and which ones just won't cut it when we go up. We will definitely need a striker though.
  7. They've also taken a hit on all the dross they've signed during this time.
  8. I'm not sure about that one. Their scouting system isn't exactly setting the heather alight.
  9. He's still young for a centre half and hasn't really had much of a regular run in a team so we're looking at potential rather than the finished artcile with him. Doesn't look like the sort of lad you'd mess with and if he's still here next season I would't mind seeing him up against the lego eating chocolate hardman from the east end.
  10. Was discussing him yesterday with a couple of mates and there was a feeling that he would probably be going as he seemed to be far out of the picture these days and wasn't even making the bench. Good luck to the lad.
  11. While his kicking has caused us problems and there was one in particular today that went straight to a Hibs player I thought he had a good game today. From what I've seen so far he's very good with cross balls and always looks to catch rather than punch, which is a good thing. We haven't really seen enough of him in terms of shot stopping but he's done well when called into action on that front. He definitely looks better than Bell.
  12. It wasn't bad communication, it was a fuck up by Shiels (who actually had a decent game when he came on). He ran towards Kiernon with his arms open indicating he was looking for the ball and then inexplicably turned his back as soon as the ball was released. Kiernon was right to have a go at him.
  13. We seemed to be playing long balls a bit more today, not sure if that was a tactic that had been discussed pre match with the aim of getting behind their full backs. I'd say the 1st half was probably the poorest we've played this season so far but we improved in the 2nd and there were flashes of what we're capable of with some nice one touch stuff down the right hand side.
  14. Absolute peach of a goal. It's great that we carry a threat from free kicks again.
  15. I am champing at the bit. Will be disappointed if we don't put at least 4 past them.
  16. I want there to be a game every day of the week
  17. The enclosures. My first games were standing in the East Enclosure.
  18. Only sat in the club deck once (game against Killie where Hutton broke his leg) and I remember we scored and I never moved from my seat. Not-to-good-with-heights Loyal
  19. I wouldn't remove the screens. If you're at the end of the enclosure (either end) and low down you're basically relying on them when the play is down the far end of the pitch.
  20. I don' think we should extend it. When we get back to our righteous place winning titles etc we'll still be in a shit league facing fodder like Partick Thistle etc and will probably get back to the stage where we sit back waiting for the inevitable (we hope) humping of the opposition. If we were in the EPL we could stick another teir on the Sandy Jardine and fill it no bother though imo.
  21. As if the huge turnaround in team performances wasn't enough for us we've also got the added bonus that the manager speaks exactly the way we'd want a Rangers manager to speak, with a dignity befitting the position. Happy days.
  22. Lock it down. Why would any Bear want to discuss him now. Fuck him and move on.
  23. Like the sound of the boy Oduwa. Him linking up with Wallace could be something special.
