  1. Far be it from me to pour cold water on dreams of that day but unless we collectively get off our Arse then I fear we'll have to wait a lot longer for 55 mate. As I write this the current DR online headline screams "Rangers cheated now it's time to strip their titles". This outrage is then followed up with literally hundreds of comments from the obsessed spurting the same thing. It goes without saying the DR is a fucking rag passing itself off as a national paper, but it's still out there for all to see. Predictably after yesterday's latest verdict this was going to resurface, but the question is what are we going to do about it? The unwashed have wasted no time getting stuck in, I hear they were giving it large on the radio last night and now this. I hope we all realise this shit IS NOT going to stop by itself, they aren't going to just let it blow over,we are going to have to come together like never before to silence that voice. Answer? I don't have the answer but I can say this I'm not going to sit and do nothing while these bastards tarnish the name of my club anymore. I'm starting tonight with a letter of complaint to the publishers worded as strongly as I'm capable. This might seem insignificant and futile to some but it's a start and at least I'll feel as if I'm doing my bit to defend something so close to my heart. I would encourage anybody else who is sick and tired of this Rangers bashing to get off your Arse and become more proactive in sticking up for our club.
  2. The enemies of our club are many and you're entirely right in your assessments bud, there will be whirlwind of shit coming in our direction very soon on the back of today's ruling. Unfortunately I think your call to arms will fall on deaf ears as we are too fragmented as a support. My dearest wish is to see Rangers emerge a stronger and more determined force given what we've had to endure these last years. The club is well on the way to achieving that imo but In all honesty I've been both surprised and disappointed how little unity is present among us the support. I take my hat off to the small band of fans dogged enough to defend the club and call out our detractors for their inacurate mudslinging but this needs to be far more widespread. Truth be known we have been far too apathetic in response to criticism and while I sincerely hope I'm wrong,I don't see that changing anytime soon unless more of us get on board and meet these bastards head on.
  3. These bastards boil my blood, rewind to the Tim's game v hearts for the the whole fenian repertoire and not a word said in the media. It's all one way and its high time that changed.
  4. Game v Motherwell in the mid 90's, heavy fog dropped right into the stadium and the whole east enclosure singing " where the fucks the ba?.....where the fucks the ba?..priceless memory always brings a simile.
  5. Something else that's been ignored is the question why a foreigner should be displaying such an obvious hatred of Rangers, now how could that come about I wonder? The sceptical among us would be forgiven for thinking it was because he spent six years in that east end cesspit where it was drummed into him.
  6. They believed him because they wanted his perverted spin of the facts to be true, and yes there are still plenty of the cretinous scum out there willing to suck it up!
  7. Your the clown son as you've clearly shown along with the other retards that can't even take the time to read the whole thread let alone understand the op
  8. Ok I admit the headline is a bit OTT but wow wow wow ffs read the original post. I'm more than happy to keep winning be it 1-0 or 5-0. The thing about setting standards is you have to strive to maintain them. That's nothing more than the manager has been reiterating on weekly basis scince he arrived so any criticism of the point is a criticism of him. I'm fully aware it's near impossible to keep it up all season and especially since teams set out to frustrate. As somebody's already said that's only to be expected. I loved the free flowing passing game we were serving up until recently. We've taken a wee dip, that's obvious but were still winning so it's all good. Not having a pop, not getting on their backs, just putting it out there I'd like to see them back to their best on Sunday so cool yer jets.
  9. I know this must sound mad on the back of 11 straight wins but I really hope we can get a convincing victory in leith on Sunday. While there can be no doubting the transformation under Warbs this season, the last month has seen a decline in not only the score lines but our overall play in general. The management and team deserve nothing but credit for grinding out results and keeping this run going, however I think we'd all take a massive boost by also turning in a performance worthy of our early season form. Don't get me wrong I'd be more than happy to leave Easter road with the same score line as last week as it would almost certainly guarantee us the league. That said I would love to see us return to the same level that's made us a joy to watch and also filled us all with optimism for the years ahead.
  10. Are you deliberately missing the point son or are you just another dhim in disguise?
  11. There's no doubt in my mind that's exactly what's been going on since the moment we went into administration. For decades the perception of oppression from Rangers and the establishment has ment they've done their utmost to ensure We never recover. We were masters of our own downfall but there are a host of individuals out there hell bent on making the situation permanent. Anybody who believes otherwise is only deluding themselves. If the last few years have done anything it's highlight the indisputable fact that the hatred of our club runs deeper than most of us believed possible. Enough is never enough for these people so yes let's not take it lying down ,but let's be clever about it at the same time.
  12. Quoting a line from the movie The counselor ........." You may think that there are lengths that these people will not go to"..........there are not! Well gents if ever any evidence was required to confirm the mindsets of these cretinous bastards PLEASE take note of the above.
  13. Listen get it right here, I'm in no way defending Burchill, his comments,or the actions of his players in any way. Call me old fashioned but I just don't want to see Rangers resort to the same bitchy "out to get us " classless attitudes displayed for years across the city. I Just don't! I've lost count the times they've "seek clarification " for this and "it's an injustice" for that and it's always made me cringe. I take on board what people are saying here about stamping out this boot the h*** stuff and agree to large extent. That said our club has always prided itself on behaving with a degree of dignity and to me this particular instance is a bit of a storm in a teacup. Yes the boy could have been seriously injured but to say it will deter players from coming I think is stretching it. The English leagues are every bit as physical and because of the fitness levels down there probably even more so. People aren't stupid Burchill has shot himself in the foot with the English player reference and has probably done himself a massive disservice by even bringing that up. Let's see how the authorities deal with it in the aftermath. I know full well others will disagree but my concern as I've alluded to before is we keep our powder dry for the people fully deserving of both bores when the opportunity arises. I think we'd do well to conserve all our energies both as a club and as a fan base for when that time comes.
  14. So what would you prefer then a 5k fine for Burchill or a marked improvement in the future performances of referees with regard to the protection of our young players? Like I say leave the witch hunting to the targets that really matter and are fully deserving of our wrath.
  15. Nobody's disputing Burchill was in the wrong only the fact weve got nothing to gain by demanding his scalp. It's the bigger picture we should be focusing on with protection for our players. Burchill's attempts to defend his player have deflected the attention to him and away from the real issue of the accepted thuggery that exists in our game. It's not as if it's the first time it's happened this season and it would be more benificial for us if referees started to come down heavy on the offenders of these incidents as a result of this game......... Just saying!
  16. With all due respect to anybody who believes otherwise but I think Rangers has far greater enemies to concern ourselves with than Mark Burchill . He's been ill advised at best with his silly comments however I think his words were that of a relative novice to the management game. Hes since withdrawn these comments in the shape of a public apology and acknowledged his error. We have every right to witch hunt our real enemies within the game, their time will come but in all honesty I wouldn't count burchill among them. Hopefully the game will serve to highlight the hammer thrower mentality in our game and help afford our young players more protection in future.
