season's not over yet. we will finish within 10 points and I think we'll win the cup. We already reached the Europa group stage, so we're on track mate.
Very bold. The way we swept aside Hamilton and Dundee has people forgetting the countless big games were are shite, and/or wasteful.
We will drop more points before the season ends, and the taigs will drop less. They have consistently saw games out or snatched them at the end in the big games.
Take any OF game in isolation... with regards to the title... doesn’t determine it one bit and both sides can end up on the wrong side of a humping. It’s the nature of the fixture.
As for the cup - it’s less than 50/50 because we haven’t even reached the semis yet.

If there was a 10m release clause why would we come out and say we would be looking for a 20m fee before letting him go. Makes no sense mate.
Exactly. Desperate stuff

Nothing to controversial and SG navigated the fans Behavior question brilliantly.

It’s bizarre.

I predict Kent will spend pre-season at Liverpool, not make the grade (no shame in that), come back to us at the very end of the transfer window over lower Prem/higher championship competition as a loan with option to buy.

He needs to bury the taiga on the 31st to begin with

Good thing to hear from the speccy tube, no doubt we will accept 10mil in the summer after that though
Had an argument with my tarrier brother in law last night about this. Convinced there’s a £10m release clause since he signed his new deal. Never heard anything like it.
Morelos living in their minds rent free. Can not cope that he will be the most expensive transfer out of Scottish football.

I think we need:
1 x quality back up keeper
1 x starting left back
1 x starting centre half and 1 x back up too
1 x attacking midfielder and 1 x enforcer type midfielder
1 x starting centre forward and 1 x back up striker
Plus Kent signed up
I think Alnwick will end up staying with the non-league boy.
I think Goldson and Katic are certs to be the CB pair come August. Can see another oldie coming in as has been form for the last few seasons.
I can see Shinnie signing (sadly), Kamara, Jack, Halliday, Arfield, Docherty, Rossiter and Dorrans being our lot.
Cannot see us signing (unless extended loan) Kent but never say never. Candeias, Murphy, Jones, Grezda and Middleton being our wide options.
Defoe, Lafferty, Hardie and maybe shankland or another young striker signing.
Not convinced we will spend big. I personally hope to see: Grezda, Murphy, Dorrans punted, Morelos go for big money. Us signing a quality CAM and striker. Kent returning.
Nothing drastic - this team needs to settle and grow.

Goldsons distribution is very poor , but the boss trusts him .
I personally see him as a bit of a risk at times .
His decision making is poor, distribution equally so and not nearly as dominant at the back as people think.
Tbf all of our CBs have good and bad games so probably why they get away with it. If team selection (CBs in particular) was form based it would be changed all the effin time

Great result no. Got away with it as we were so poor, but the main talking point was the way the game was refereed. Woeful standard of refs in the country.
The only thing that’s consistent about them is they are shite every week

Shite result and shite performance.
Not worthy of winning the cup playing like that. Imagine it was the tarriers? We’d have been pumped.
Can take solace in the fact that this performance was the exception not the rule recently. A different game at ibrox.

He was a rock.
What does goldson have have to do to get benched?

Their last 2 90+ min winners are how you win league titles unfortunately ☹️ Still never know what can happen. It’s strange to say but I’d be more gutted the closer we get should we finish 2nd. I know that sounds pathetic but hay 🤷♂️ Sitting on the last game and losing by say 3pts would hurt more than 5 +. Can’t remember ever wanting to win a title so much and I’m 37.
That’s the fact. The league isn’t won by sweeping aside the lowest positioned sides by 4/5 goals. It’s going to the piggery, Easter road, pittodrie, tyncastle and rugby park and winning. By hook or crook.

Two points ...
a) why pump high balls up to a midget
b) why keep trying to pummel a packed defence, why not invite them to come out to midfield and then get behind them? You can invite them out but they won’t come.
We never just ‘pumped high balls up to a midget.’ If you think that I don’t believe you actually watched it.
What I will say is we still struggle to break sides down who sit in and have done for 3 seasons. But Defoe showed he isn’t sharp enough cause problems a younger sharper striker of quality would.

I don't think Defoe has found his mojo yet The team had 18 shots and only 1 on target. So the midfield were creating chances I've put Defoe's slowness today down to his injury aggravating him. Well done to Wes for keeping us at a clean sheet
An inconvenient truth.
He got the chance/space at pittodrie at a point where Aberdeen were gung ho.
When sides sit in it takes a good striker who is 100% sharp to get goals. Defoe is not 100% and might never be.

I agree but he shouldn't be getting that experience while at our club, it's far too high profile for him and clearly he's struggling.
Too many cunts forget who we are. Forget where we came from recently - we’re in the top division, selling out, and paying more than all but one club. No side in the league should get a result at ibrox and there should be a title race. It’s not as if the tarriers are running away with it like last season - they have dropped more points this season than last two combined yet we are potentially 8pts behind them. It’s shocking.
The gaffer cant dine out on Europe forever - scratch beneath the surface - every side we played in the groups has been abysmal in their respective leagues and replaced their gaffers. All in turmoil and we didn’t beat any of them bar one victory.
we aren’t a project or a learning club. Seasons are running out to stop the tarriers getting 10iar.
