Like others have already said, I'd drive him down if a minimum of 500k is met. 33 this summer and injuries over the years that will no doubt have lost him a yard or 2 of pace and more prone to new injuries. Took an age to catch up with the Premiership pace and will take even longer this time no doubt. To an extent yes but we need to start somewhere and this gives us our first steps and exposure back to where we belong and any financial bonus that comes with it. Pumped or not, this is simply another stage in our recovery from the dreary depths of Scottish football that we've been through the past 5 years. Got to find at least some positivity I think.
