  1. Mcinnes has a history of being a total bottler, turning down a job in the English championship in the summer to stay with them for me proved he does not have the mentality it takes. Also when rocket Ronny was in charge of them a few years ago Aberdeen had two games in hand over them if they had won they would have gone 5 clear and put real pressure on them yet the completely bottled it.
  2. Entitled to your opinion but was only putting things in context we did not suddenly become a bad side the minute PC took over last season we were dreadful from the first kick of the ball. As for sacking him what happens if the exact same thing happens under the next manager do you just keep sacking every manager after 20 or so games?
  3. The smoke bomb thing is really a Police matter not SFA/SPFL they should be checking the CCTV to find the culprit and go crashing through his door to arrest him.
  4. Not making excuses for PC but to be blunt they could have put 4-5 past us in almost every game last season. The league cup semi 1-0 result absolutely flattered us. The only game we even looked half competent against them was the draw at peado-dice and that was probably more down to them taking the foot off the gas that day. Even in the semi final we won against them they had 27 shots on goal over the game.
  5. Browns elbow might not have been much but it's the intent that counts and also the fact he's done it in a number of games over the last few years. Pieter Huistra was sent off in an OF game for a fresh air swipe that missed by about 8 inches Brown gets away with anything he wants to in Scotland. That's why they always get pumped in Europe no Scottish refs to help them out.
  6. I stand corrected but it's hardly the big huge deal that some on here make it out to be. Even if he does have to make an offer probably most won't sell anyway so I doubt much will change.
  7. Either King gets forced to buy the shares or not. Not exactly the end of the world either way.
  8. First thing we need to do in January is get Walker,McLean and Moult all tied up on pre-contacts. I know they are not exactly world beaters but I think they would significantly strengthen us for most of the games in Scotland. We definitely also need to use the loan market better in January maybe bring in someone not getting a game for an EPL team who would improve us till the end of the season.
  9. That's nothing to do with the board that falls under the management/players remit. We've spent more than enough to beat teams like that.
  10. Of course they care about getting beat off the peados you think they don't actually want to win the league or qualify for the UCL? The reality is that lot have brought in about £60m+ more than us in the last two seasons we can't compete with them financially right now might be tough to hear but it's the truth. No titles were stripped nor will they ever be so I can't see how they would care about something that never happened.
  11. In all the posts I've seen on King GTF etc I've yet to see one yes one single post on a credible alternative. This idea that if King walked away tomorrow everything will be rosy and Mr moneybags Rangers man will walk in and start throwing money around is laughable. Where were these Rangers men over the last 6 years exactly? You can't force the board out if you don't have an alternative to take over I'm not sure people actually grasp that.
  12. And your super duper alternative to King is who exactly? There are no potential suitors at this minute in time nor have there been over the last 6 years when we've been sold twice to conmen like Whyte and Green. As for Kingco wanting X,Y and Z to sell up unless you have talked to them and know for a fact it's supposition on your part.
  13. King only owns 15% of the shares you would not even need to deal with him to gain a sizeable majority of shares so to say no one will buy us cause DK wants a huge amount of money for his holdings is not the case. Also any investor will look at the bottom line of the club I.E. income, debts & future outgoing etc not what King has done in the past.
  14. Unfortunately some of our support believe in fairy tales about pure staunch Rangers men with zillions of pounds to invest but because they don't like King they will sit back and do nothing, meantime in the real world..... In terms of going pound for pound with celtic short term that ain't going to happen they've taken in £40m+ from Europe in the past two season plus they make millions more domestically that's about a £60m gulf financially over just two seasons. We start trying to chase them by throwing money around we might as well call in an administration team right now and get it done with. Until this mythical Rangers man appears with a ton of cash our only option is to run the club well financially and rebuild our revenue streams while putting in place a good youth set up for the long term.
  15. So getting our retail rights back was purely done for the benefit of Murray or King and not the club? Not sure I understand that logic.
  16. If DM had been an Aberdeen or celtic fan then I might have understood his actions based on his dislike of the club but this is someone that's claimed to be a Rangers fan since he was a kid. Had Jack signed a pre contract with celtic who are also a rival team it would never have happened. As for DM as a manager he is no better than what we already have over the last few years we've seen Hearts,Hibs, Dundee Utd and Rangers relegated and with the 3rd biggest budget in the country all he's won is a solitary league cup not to mention his teams get destroyed every year in Europe by a bunch of goat herders after one maybe two games.
  17. Aberdeen are rumoured to want £1m in compensation for Mcinnes as per the terms of his new contract is he worth that? Also lets not forget his pathetic beast like behaviour before the cup final (stripping Jack of the capacity) had Jack signed a pre contract with any other team in the world excluding Rangers he would never have done such a thing.
  18. If even Tom O'English is admitting publicly that Brown gets away with being a thug in Scottish football you know just how bad it has become even he can't ignore it.
  19. The problem with buying Scottish based players is other clubs will gouge us for more than the player is worth we saw that with Walker. Hearts would rather lose him for nothing in 12 months than sell him to us for a sensible price of 500k now. Had we bid for McLean Aberdeen would not have sold for less than £1.5m. When Rangers come calling most clubs will add a few hundred thousand on to the value of any player.
  20. Don't think they would have gone to all the trouble of ousting the previous regime, fighting Ashley to get retail rights back and putting in money to keep the club afloat if they did not care.
  21. We are not good enough to play 3 up front we saw that many times under the previous manager. Still think in the majority of games in Scotland 4-4-2 is good enough it's just guys like Miller, Windass and Wes need to be dropped. Morelos and Herrera should get a run of 5-6 games together to see what they can do. We don't have great options on the left right now but once everyone is fit get John or Nemane out there.
  22. Candelas is an attacking winger that was asked to do a far more defensive job yesterday was always going to be a tough shift for him. I think he's a decent player and one of the best crossers of the ball in Scotland. Cardoso needs to improve vastly.
  23. I don't think Norwich were ever going to let him go for free and even if they did he would have not taken a massive wage cut to come back anyway. Whole reason he left was money so why would he change now?
  24. Blaming refs for a good cause not because they may have given a throw in against us that was not. Stokes had his hands round the neck of one of our players in full view of the ref who was 5 yards away, later in that game he assaults Tav by punching him in the head from behind should we just say "meh" and forget about things like that? Refs have cost Rangers more than a few points this season that's not an excuse just facts.
  25. I think over the next 12 months we'll see improvement as the financial situation at the club will be clearer. Getting the rights issue over the line will be huge when that's done the club is 100% debt free, back in Europe and for the first time in 6 years we'll be able to sign a lucrative new kit deal next summer. I think at that point we might see people like Julian Wolhardt move in and invest. Don't think the guy has spent £1m for the shares just to sit and let them gather dust he obviously wants in when the time is right.
