Fuck it, just went ahead with this!
Added everyone that posted in this thread, whether they play the game or not. 31-man squad is pretty decent, might get a varied lineup.
Stick the fmf file in your 'editor data' folder and the 'rangersmedia' folder and your graphics folder. Both of which can be found in 'My Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2018'.

Anyone remember the Soccer AM team you could have a little friendly with a few FMs back? Thinking of adding a RangersMedia side, filled with a few faces, that's solely available for the occasional friendly. Pretty certain I could make it so the players wouldn't move, possibly.

There would be if they released the game with certain top players and teams locked, with the only way to use them is either after paying upwards of £1k or spending 3000+ hours grinding to get them.
That's a pretty ridiculous comparison to make. UT is a bullshit game mode imo but at least with that even without spending money you can compete with the players that do.

For those curious, this is what my transfers looked like for the first season. Alfons, Jose Maria, and Alberto were all regens.
Jamie Walker, Lewis Morgan, Declan John and Blair Alston are all coming in on free transfers.
This is probably my best 11, that upfront partnership is just magical.

It's pretty much a given. I'd be surprised if many developers set out to fuck their fans over, EA are completely out of touch, they only care about the cash they could possibly bring in. Any game that involves gaining a paid advantage should always be avoided imo.

Can't recommend this guy highly enough, he's on fire for me. Herrera has been scoring for fun with anyone partnered upfront. Brought in Luka after losing Morelos and Giuseppe Rossi (12 months!) to injuries, haven't missed them at all.

Anyone that actually forked out for this incomplete shit is a mug tbh, EA are just robbing you blind. The abuse the developers have been receiving is completely unwarranted though, not a chance it was their choice to fuck with microtransactions and all that shit in their own game. Wouldn't be surprised if EA cans DICE down the line after this fallout.

Started a new save after the full release, even after securing the quadruple in my beta save.
Brought in Jamie Walker and Yan Valery on loan. And three youngsters, Rok Vodisek, Tony Gallacher and Dario Maresic, all being future first team players.

Three youngsters my DF brought that look good are Greg Kiltie, Tony Gallacher and Callum Smith (who scored the ET winner in the Scottish Cup for me with a volley outside the box). Lewis Morgan, Jamie Walker, Chris Cadden and Louis Moult all on pre-contracts as well come January.
