That's what I want to see from a Rangers team. Even if not at our best quality wise, on the front foot, winning every tackle and tearing into second balls. Fuck angeball, they couldn't live with us when we jumped on the front foot and made it happen. I can forgive a missed pass if I see every one bleeding for the cause, we had that at the start of that half and if we get our top form back, no-one can live with us. I've been very critical of us this season but I think this should be a turning point. Thats the standard. They will fear us. We fear no-one.

Deserved shout out. Played with a lot of heart today. Some dodgy distribution but delivered when it mattered for the goal. Not sure ending means he is off, from where I was sitting in SJR at time I thought he just looked emotional as very likely he was injured and knows he has been carrying something for a while, and got through it. We'll find out soon enough.

Helander is a better defender than Balogun. We can't afford to drop him the moment he has a slightly dodgy/sub par game. His positioning and reading of the game makes us much more solid. Barisic is our best left back but not if he isn't at 100% fitness/match sharpness. I think Bassey could do a job against them.

From what we've seen so far, getting Jamie Carragher to spit in your face would bring you more home comfort.

I think he still has more quality in his locker than he showed tonight, but I loved his attitude, he never hides and always wants the ball and to make soemthing happen. He has the bravery and temperament to do it on the big stage once it clicks for him.

havent seen the replay yet but was raging at the time. Moments like that, the ball going out the park from Lundstrum/Helander I think under no pressure and also Alfie not controlling it on the byline just summed us up at times. So sloppy. Wouldnt have called out Goldson at all.

Scott Wright and Bassey did well. Davis was the one senior player I would say was just about alright. I don't think Goldson excelled at all, surprised he got called out by the manager. From where I was sitting in SJR looked like he missed a great chance to score with header, and generally wasn't that imposing or great with the ball, looked off his level from last year without being tested.

More hope on Bacuna personally as I think Roofe will have a big year for us, but aye - we can't afford duds to be fair.

Midfield quality was the priority in the summer. Someone that could improve the starting 11. On the evidence so far, you could argue Lundstrum is around 6/7th best option in there if everyone was fully fit. Even taking into account the different positions in the 3. Davis, Kamara, Jack, Arfield, Aribo, even Kelly. Not to mention the new boy who we must hope will be a better option. Fuck me.

Feeling more confident and relaxed now and expect that to last until the first misplaced pass from Lundstram.

Looks like a guy who is more comfortable running around a park than taking the ball to his feet and making something happen. Not a great quality to have as a professional football player who plays central midfield for Rangers.

Really hoped we would strengthen our midfield for this season, it was the number one priority. Wanted a Jack type given his injury problems and a younger Arfield type ideally. We got Lundstrum who is managing to both give goals away and do fuck all going forward so far. His first instinct seems to be to play the simple pass and run away. Need Jack back fit so badly, and Stephen Kelly should be ahead of Lundstrum until he gets to the level expected of a Rangers midfielder.
