If Walter Smith wanted someone, then they'd have to sit down, and talk about it....they'd discuss it nearer the time. Hopefully Walter Smith isn't given a penny to spend, as he'll probably waste it! What are people expecting him to do; break up play on the edge of our own box, pass it to himself, move into an attacking position, play a defence splitting ball to Boyd, and get up and support him, then when we lose posession, track back 70 odd yards, and stick a foot in....????? Steven Davis is one of our best players, he's one of my favourite players, and I'll admit, and have done on many occassions, that he needs to pull his weight more, and become a bit more consistant. However, some of the stuff thrown at him is ridiculous. It must be near on impossible trying to play in a midfield on your own - as McCulloch, Thomson, and Lafferty never turned up. When Barry Ferguson was in the side, it was the lack of quality around about him that was the excuse, now he's gone, and we have a better player in Steven Davis, when we fail to perform, it's Davis fault. How the fuck does that work? The sooner we get in a manager who know's how to play all these players, and drop the shitebags, then we'll continue to struggle, and be horribly inconsistant, and before anyone moans, this isn't all Walter Smith's fault, as the players are to blame aswell.
