The Ultimate Fighter returns to British TV

By Matt Freeman on Mar 31, 10 04:50 PM in UFC News

Saturday April 3rd will see the TUF 11 air on British television as Team Ortiz takes on Team Liddell.

Channel FIVE USA will premiere the new series of TUF at 11pm and will feature a brand new format, fights from the very first episode as well as feature two coaches who need no introduction to mixed martial arts fans, UFC legends and former champions Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell and Tito "The Huntington Beach Badboy" Ortiz.

"It's great to have TUF back on FIVE USA," UFC UK Division President Marshall Zelaznik said. "We've really shaken the format up this season with 28 contestants trying for that career-changing contract with the UFC.

"Long-time UFC fans will be familiar with the great rivalry between Chuck and Tito. These guys want to beat each other so badly no matter what they are competing in so you can expect them to go all out to get their own fighters in the finale."

With the competition heating up every season and the rivalry between the coaches sure to reach boiling point, TUF 11 looks set to be another epic season of MMA action.

Im not the biggest fan of Liddell but I hope he smacks fuck out of Tito. If Tito doesnt pussy out of it that is. I was proper raging at him when he shouted at Mark Coleman in his interview after fighting Randy. He makes excuses for everything and his wife is famous for nothing more than being a slag. I hate him.

Not gonna wait til April, gonna download it tomorrow.

Always a good watch imo.

It's shown on Saturday

Apparently there were rumours doing the rounds that Tito was going to pull out of the coaches fight and Rich Franklin was to step in and fight Chuck instead... but Dana said they're pish :pipe:

Regardless, you've got to think that both are finished. Far too many guys kicking about at LHW who could sort them out.
