has weir travelled with the squad despite not being under contract with the club?

Yeah

http://www.rangers.co.uk/articles/20110706/ortiz-joins-travelling-party_2254024_2387502

Ortiz completes a squad of 22 who will be under the close eye of Ally McCoist as he seeks to build on two weeks of hard work at Murray Park.

As well as familiar faces like newly contracted Steven Whittaker and Allan McGregor there are a few youngsters included in the travelling party.

Young striker Kane Hemmings will have the chance to make an impression alongside midfielder Thomas Kind Bendiksen.

Grant Adam also joins the top team squad as the squad's third goalkeeper, while Davie Weir is included although he has yet to sign an extension to his contract.

There is no space for Mo Edu who will rejoin the squad at a later date having been on international duty for much of the summer break.

Andy Little and Jamie Ness are continuing their rehabilitation from injury and will not travel to Germany.

Subs: Alexander, Adam, McMillan, Kerkar, Wylde, Bendiksen, Hutton, Fleck, Healy and Hemmings.

The bench tells all. Can big Davie Weir play? Has his deal ran out because if so then he can't play yeah?

Anyways, this is a strong team but I reckon the likes of Hutton, Fleck, Wylde and Bendiksen will play. We'll get to see Ortiz so I'm happy. Hopefully this game is streamed but it seems doubtful because of the venue, anyone else know if we'll get a stream?

Lotte 0-3 Gers (Lafferty, Naisy and Jelavic) :21:
