if he plays against those creeps , well going by past experience he will miss the mhanks game :(

May be no bad thing, he had a horror show in the 2-2 game aside from the goal.

Mind you, he wasn't the only one that day.

It is hard to get the idea out of your head that this boy's potential is going to be ruined by constant injuries.

Looks so reminiscent of Duncan Ferguson where loads of potential was ruined by constant and debilitating injuries.

He is 20 now so the body hasn't stopped growing and developing yet.

One can only hope that once it does and the bones/muscles settle down then the treatement proscribed by the German Specialist can start to have an effect.

Someone, maybe Elfideldo, said that you could probably bet your house on Ness never making six consecutive starts for us because of his injury problems.

I stand by that to this day, which is a real gutter as the boy actually looks really promising.

Ironic then that he started eight out of nine games for us last season.

I think the more general point of him not being fit for more prolong periods is valid though.

Jan 2nd v Celtic L

Jan 10th v Killie W

Jan 15th v Hamilton W

Jan 18th v ICT W

Jan 22nd v Hearts L

Jan 26th v Hibs W

Jan 30th v M'Well (DNP)

Feb 2nd v Hearts W

Feb 6th v Bheasts D

So he played in 8 of those games and we won 5...lost 2 and drew 1.

I stand corrected, though he did only manage the six.

He looks a good player and a better option than some of the experienced CMs we have but it's keeping him fit and injury free that's a killer.

As for that Hearts game, he was outstanding but we were never going to win that one. Did everything but score that day.

His ability to remain fit for prolonged periods of time is his major problem.

His ability in general is frightening and i for one would love to see him at the top of his game alongside Davis, Naismith and McKay. Not seen anything of Bedoya yet to judge him but McKay looks to have a bit of dig and pace and plays wide left for Australia.Good eye for a pass and chips in with a few goals.

I think that midfield would have everything required to dominate against all SPL teams including the scum.

I even think that with a midfield of Wylde-Davis-Ness-Naismith should be enough to romp this league.
