NessFTW 40
Missed most of the game unfortunately but just wondering how people think McCoist's tactical approach contributed to the win today (if at all).Cheers in advance
SirWalterSmithLegend 206
Injuries dictated how we approached it. Putting Fleck on was a very good move and he was proved right.
Broxi 12,207
Whatever he did was fucking magic!65% possession and completely dominated the game. He played Fleck albeit of the bench with no other striking options but with his performance today I will be outraged if he is sent out on loan! Allanger 625
He was forced to make the changes
garycassidy1802 37
McCoist did well, even if most of the changes were enforced due to injury. Fleck behind Healy and Aluko on the right wing won us the game I'd say.McKay not getting on, when McMillan and Kerkar did is a bit strange, but who knows what's going on there. GaryMc 2,409
I'd like to think it was on his orders that we kept the ball on the deck and played with a fast tempo. If he continues with playing more footballers and improves our standard of play like today then I'll be happy.Good decision to put Fleck in and play him where he did. Finally!!This is how I expect us to approach games and if Ally can keep doing this then he'll easily change my opinion of him as a manager. Creampuff 22,630
Please Ally, PLEASE.. Make this the model for the football you want us to play.
thebooler 4,509
Ye know whit pisses me off? I don't even know if it is Ally's decisions and tactics. One minute McDowall's oot on the touchline, then it's Durrant, followed by Ally himself. Then sometimes it's all 3 of them. Do they have certain areas of the team that they each concentrate on, or are they all just "playing" at being manager?Do the players themselves know who they should really be listening to? keithgersbear 3,225
I would not get carried away. Anyone can dominate a match on any given day. It is about doing it on a consistent level. Passing the ball and using the ball in a constructive way.

gunslinger 270
we were already dominating when fleck came on.
bombaybadboy08 15,660
Ally said that Lafferty's injury dictated that we kept the ball on the deck, doesn't sound like he's keen on it himself but he takes the flak after a defeat so he's certainly entitled to a bit of praise here. JimmyCR1 1,566
When we play it on the park we win games, when we play lee mcculloch we loose games
theweebluenose 4,343
I hope he see's how better a side we are when we get the ball on the deck and pass it about, no McCulloch and Whittaker/Broadfoot tends to help too.
