Colonel Mustard 380
After having had a good game yesterday, young Fleck has to follow it up with some similar performances. He showed a good range of passing, but now needs to quickly add another string or two to his bow.He should now look to follow in the great tradition of the Moonlighters, and add something to his game that the team is screaming out for right now. We desperately need a player who can step up to a free kick, get it past the wall, and on target. Moonlighting stints for Fleck over the next weeks and months could make him capable of doing that, and give him that extra ammunition in his locker to make him a key player, even if other aspects of his game are letting him down.Anyway, wee man. Stay away from Possil boozers, and moonlight your way to a regular spot in the Rangers side.
JimmyCR1 1,557
Naismith pretty much had to do the same as fleck, he was poor for a while then never really got the chance, but when he did get his chance he certainly took it and developed into our MVP. I would love for Fleck to do the same.
ForeverBlue_Since91 2,895
Gregg Wylde should be looking to do the same. And we should be looking at keeping players like fleck and selling ones like McCulloch Whittaker and Edu.

Creampuff 22,630
Fleck needs a run of games to show what he can do.I fully believe he can have a Naismith style revival.

Bluemadras 0
I saw him a few Christmas days ago in a boozer in the north Glasgow area. He was on soft drinks mind you! Not right he is hanging about possil bars - he will end up like Chic Charnley!! A wasted talent some may say!

Clemdog 39,389
Played really well today. Hope he stays and gets his chance in behind the striker.
Redsox1 1,361
I`ve spoken to fleck before. Nice guy. a lot bigger built than I thought. looks like the guy earlier was right about him doing extra gym work.
Thermopylae 15,288
Given injuries and Jelavic probably leaving I think we would be insane to let him go out on loan if we still have any choice in the matter.
beattie72 170
Flecks movement/passing was really good yesterday. Would be ridiculous for him to go on loan now.
dan_ger 1,454
I felt the Fleck played well today, also felt he brought the best out in Davis, Edu and Aluko. Certainly if he decides to put the work in he has the the technique to be a dead ball specialist!

Nicika Jelavic 7
What's happened to the Fleck haters? He will start performing IF GIVEN THE CHANCE. Rarely happens, would start him next game far superior player to McCulloch and Healy. I've said it all along- John Fleck has the most potential out of all our youngsters, even more than Jamie Ness. I get what you're saying but after a good performance the last thing he needs is dropped and it will be a test of McCoist's own man management ability (and general team selection common sense) to see if he gets kept in the side.Good thing is it's Arbroath next and he would have more than likely played anyway if still at the club. MillwallLoyal 284
Fleck should be seen as a definite starter in the middle of the attacking 3 in a 4-2-3-1.Apart from Stevie Naismith, (who can comfortably play anywhere in that 3) he's the only natural 'dropping off' attacker we have.Build the team around these 2 & possibly Bedoya or Aluko behind a top striker after Jela goes, then we're back in it.Also switch between 4-2-3-1 & 4-1-3-2 & we'll succeed. Different formations all the time have the players unsettled/ unorganised. Also stick with Edu / Davis in central midfield with Edu the holds more free reign which he hasn't seem to have lately. Playing deeper restricts him so much, & having a dedicated holding player would free him to attack & delve around the park. Ness & McKay as their back up, not over looking Hutton & McCabe as 3rd choice in the middle.Get rid of Whittaker, Broadfoot & Jig, Ortiz to Right back with McMillan his direct understudy, Wallace on the left & Wylde (yes back to attacking left back) as his bck up.Goian & Capt America are a no brainer, but Perry & Bartley an able back up.Not such a bad squad after all with a bit of proper organisation. Colonel Mustard 380
What's a moonlighter ??I thought that was what people did when they owed rent and sneaked out during the night. The early Rangers players who honed their fitness and practiced their skills under the moonlight at Kinning Park, were the Moonlighters. In the days of little/no street lighting, they'd be out there under the full moon, practicing to be the best they could be...and in the process, starting rumours of the area being haunted, as locals heard noises that couldn't be explained late into the night.
