Man Utd, Real Madrid - has scored 40plus per season atleast 3 times and in different leagues. Portugal - Without Ronaldo, Portugal look average. Messi in MY opinion wouldnt do it at Man Utd....and I wonder how good he would be without Xavi and Iniesta etc. Also, he isnt nearly as important to Argentina as Ronaldo is to Portugal.As good as Messi is, Ronaldo edges it for me.... He got 40 last year.Ronaldo may have more physical strength, but he doesn't use it on the field, when he's flopping around crying any time he's tackled. His free kicks are generally pish. He can hit them hard, and when they go in it looks brilliant, but he rarely even gets them on target. Messi is quicker over ten yards aswell, and that's the most important thing in footballing terms.
