SwallowsHisOwnSpunk 7,875
I don' mind Wylde or Mervan as they left when the future of Rangers was very much up in the air and every penny we saved counted they only made an offer to the administrators to tear up the contracts which the administrators agreed to do.The players only players I have no ill feeling towards are...Neil Alexander, Kirk Broadfoot, Kyle Bartley, Ross Perry, Dorin Goina, Carlos Bocanegra, Lee Wallace, Kyle Hutton, Maurice Edu, Gregg Wylde, Mervan Celik, Sone Aluko, David Healy, Lee McCulloch, Nikica Jelavic + a few other youths.Notice the foreigners have been more loyal and commited than the so called Rangers fans from Scotland and Northern Ireland they were the first to walk away while the 3 Americans signed over. Edmiston Drive 3,846
Can't believe the abuse Wylde is taking here. Do people not remember what it was like back then? We were expecting dozens upon dozens of redundancies. He made a decision to try and help people who wouldn't be able to earn what he could. Nobody could've imagined that we managed to retain the team and avoid laying staff off. You can bet your arse that the people at Ibrox were greatful to Gregg for making what will have been a hard decision. He does not deserve the abuse he's getting here. Can see what you mean......but (always one) think wylde wanted away and saw this as his opportunity as he signed on for Bolton within hours. Think back to him on the bench and when he came on the park , his face was tripping him...........................I view is as mentioned , he wanted to go and saw an opportunity to go. Creampuff 22,628
Wylde's decision to leave prevented the mass redundancies of non-playing staff that we can rightfully be proud of.
