jools1873 16
I went today with my Mum & Dad. Good turn out. It took over an hour for the parade to pass. Lots of nice jubilee banners and a whole lot of red white & blue going on! A lot of the lodges were walking with union flag scarves on and holding flags. It's been a while since I've gone to a parade. I really enjoyed it today!

RFCHTID 52
Took the boy up at the back of 10 this morning so we could listen to the speech and the reading of the declaration of the covenant.what a turn out it was, only downside was they used both the entrances to let the bands out onto the road to begin marching and we missed a few bands due to this, only seen one bit trouble the whole day,two neds having a punchup and the boys in blue sprinting after one of them, was hilarious watching them try catch him in that crowd.Hope the rest of our fellow sisters and brethern had a good day. jools1873 16
Good move, ek is for toffs ! I wouldn't go that far. They wouldn't have let me in otherwise, but it is where :superally: came from. Mr Jools went to school with him. (not the same year though).
