The Potential Extra Play-Off Spot

Are you right in the head? We will spend another year in effectively a part time league and take just as long to play "top level" games....this is being pushed through to tie us into the tv deal and use us a carrot for the SFL clubs to push the balance of power back in the SPL's favour....all the money won in the championship is in the form of loans and will be repaid in the top flight thereby keeping all the money there.

Just give us what we are due nothing more nothing less if we win promotion we should be promoted to the next league

if the recon goes through in the currently proposed format then were due a promotion just like Stranraer.

It's irrelevant which team is in that position as a standard as already been set.

If it goes through then that team is us.

*Unless that team is Rangers, in which case the rule book and any precedents are conveniently ignored.

If you win Div3, you play in Div2 the following season. Anything else would be essentially be a relegation. It doesn't matter how they dress it up if you win your league you go up to the one above automatically, any deviation should be challenged in the courts.

Also, even looking at it they way it gets dressed up (3rd tier instead of 4th), Winning the 4th tier should mean that you shouldn't have to play all the teams from the 4th tier again, what have they done to deserve to be moved to the 3rd tier, where is the sporting integrity in that?

It's a farce and since it looks like this ridiculous top 2 tiers splitting into 3will happen, I would only be happy with the 12-12-10-10 proposal, where we would rightfully be moved a tier higher than the teams we have been playing all fucking season.

Just to clarify, if we play in the second tier of a restructured league next year we play top level football one year sooner. Also given the ridiculous split we would play the bottom four SPL clubs this time next season.

That is my understanding of events if the Stranraer precedent is followed.

Why else are they so hell bent on changing the rules so quickly?

That's what I get out it too.

Basically it's saying to the top league TV viewers, here's a taster of the Rangers, coming to you soon.

Plus the fact we that people want to see us fail especially if we are still weakened as a team at that point.
