If there's a chance he's back by the OF at Ibrox that would be massive. Both for that game and the remaining games

Not sure how realistic that is or not

Any idea on timescales for Danilo also?

Sure Danilo was out for the season.

I think folk are confusing the Sima situation. ‘Back training’ is essentially very light jogging on the pitch. Be doubtful we see him near the squad for a while I think.

Tbf if we can have him back for the fenians it wouldn’t be bad at all

I can’t see any of our long term injuries coming back and hitting the ground running, even once they are physically fit enough they are gonna need time to find their form.

There isn’t enough time left in the season for this to happen.

Ideally the shorter term injuries I.e. Cantwell and Matondo can come back that’s our best shot, especially Matondo with the wingers we have available.

The problem is Matondo never comes back and hits the ground running he always needs months before he gets into a good run of form (before getting injured again!)

It would be brilliant . I fear though it'll take him a few games to get up to speed .

I got told he’s targeting minutes v Hibs but for that to happen everything has to be perfect re: rehab with no ill effects once he starts training intensively again - which is unlikely.

He could be available for the game v them but he won’t be fit.

The cup or the league game on the 30th ?

Just having a few dangerous options off the bench for the last 15-20 minutes would be enough.

The problem is he’s fucking dug meat.

Starts back training tomorrow I think I read

Would be a massive boost to have him back and playing after the internationals.

People thinking he will be like Maradona in the first game....

Even if he was like the 60 year old, fat Maradona doing copious gear. He’d still be a better option than our current crop
