JCDBigBear 10,971
My great uncle John (long gone now) used to tell me about "Meeks" as he was his idea of the Greatest Ever Rangers player. He was always praising him.
elephants stoned 2,994
Great read that I'm confused though why are the pre war players not eligible for the Greatest Ever Ranger title? Hardly seems fair.
trueblue68 2,497
Great read that I'm confused though why are the pre war players not eligible for the Greatest Ever Ranger title? Hardly seems fair. It's a shame. Alan Morton is probably the greatest ever Ranger.
Kai_Johansen 978
Excellent read about a truly great Ranger. My Granda used to talk about not only Meeks, but Sand Archibald and the great Alan Morton all from the same team era during the 1920's till the mid thirties, all of them were outstanding players, honourable people and truly great Rangers.Write more and I will certainly read it! elephants stoned 2,994
It's a shame. Alan Morton is probably the greatest ever Ranger. Its bizzare these guys have just as much right to be considered Rangers legends as McCoist, Greig, Baxter or any of our other legendary talents over the last 141 years.
