somerset bear 34 86
Wee Nacho for scoring some important goals for us : That penalty v Fiorentina:Goal v hibs on Helicopter SundayGoal v Falkirk Scottish Cup FinalGoal v Red Star was only goal in 2 legs that qualified us for Champions League. Amongst others. This, the one and only novo. I dont think a more untalented player has ever had such an impact on our fortunes. Not saying this as a negative but as a player with limited ability he was out standing for us

WeirFleckNRothen 1,789
Cuéllar had an incredible season for us, Davie Weir became a club legend, Jelavic could be frightening, Bougherra replaced the irreplaceable and so on, but it's Pedro Mendes for me.That goal at Parkhead, that game in general, banished the ghosts that had haunted us for a year or two and set us up for three years of pure joy; the best three years of my footballing life.I thought he was a touch of class. I'm not saying that he was consistent or turned-up every week, but he made a good team very, very good.I still miss him and for what it's worth, that 2008/09 season. Great memories.
