RangersFanBase 611
Has anyone else got the new kits, and has had the problem with the Blackthorn logo peeling away? Logo has started to peel away on both my Home Shirt & the black 3rd Kit. Also the tops seem to have very tight fitting sleeves... or is that just me being fat haha? WilliamFyfe 1,438
A lot of fans have had issues with the top peeling and arms being too tight. Your best bet is taking it back. Be helpful if you had a receipt but.

govanblue 16,847
people were moaning (quite rightly!) about the peeling just days after release.I took that on board, and have never washed mine. No peeling yet, but don't get too close.

No peeling yet, but don't get too close. I've asked a few friends about it; and apparently they took them back to the club, and were told to speak to Sports Direct about the problem, don't see why we'd need to speak to SD though? And some were told they had to pay for new strips..
FernandoR20 2,133
Mine's started peeling. The tight arms are better though.

RangersFanBase 611
The thing that concerns me the most - Is we've got five years with Puma, and the tops appear to be absolutely shite, and people will stop buying them, and then retail sales go down. It won't influence me - I buy my one top per season, no matter what it's like, and only wear it at the games. But it will influence lots of people, I'm sure. SteveJ 743
I had not intended on getting one this year but the wife got me one for Xmas. Have to say, it is not bad but only in the washing today after its first use yesterday, so cannot speak about the logo.Fitting is not too bad, considering I have blubber ;-)
CalvinC 1,414
I just put it down to having muscly arms. Ko I'm a fat disgrace. I like how the tops fit this year though.

SteveJ 743
A shame this thread's come 12 hours too late for you. Lol. I would much prefer peeling than crusty. Why does that sound like a quote from Wayne Rooney?
pcbear 10,932
This seasons top is awful, poor quality poor design/template, last seasons umbro classic top knocks spots off the piss poor Puma effort.
wully 49,714
Everything is peeling on the training top and there is no Blackthorn logo on the black shorts at all.Only wear the gear around the gaff though so i blame whoever washes them. loyalfollower 1,543
Check the label. Cant mind what degree setting but definitely wash inside out. Im tempted just to wash mine through in the sink without softner
RangersFanBase 611
I've got tops from the 90's that are still in one piece and haven't peeled, or needed to be washed a certain way. Puma are just gash in my opinion.
