Bobby Hume 13,085
How much would that have cost to hire out? In 1893?, I would imagine you would be lucky if you saw any change out of £17.00 quid, lucky to get 10 pence back I would say, so maybe..........16.90? quinty 1,445
Fucking typical, spunking money on dances. They should all have been in for extra training, especially after the way they played the weekend before.

quinty 1,445
I think Primrose was the grandfather or great grandfather of Bob Primrose Wilson, keeper of Arsenal FC and Scotland and erstwhile host of Grandstand.

The Moonlighter 3,624
Baillie John Ure Primrose who is listed as attending the dinner has a profile on our website.Sir John Ure Primrose became a member of Rangers Football Club in August, 1887, the month in which first Ibrox Park was opened. At the annual meeting in 1888, the future baronet but at that time Councillor Primrose, was elected Honorary President. He only vacated this office on becoming chairman some twenty-four years later.http://www.thegallantpioneers.co.uk/...-Primrose.html
