Is it worth going to the shareholders meeting on Monday?

Here is a list of questions which I think we would all like answered. As we basically only get one question each it would be helpful if individual shareholders would ask a question from the list.

AGM 2014 questions

1) In view of the recent major shareholder manoeuvres involving Mike Ashley, can board clarify how this will affect Rangers FC and our fans? What are his plans?
2) Has any former or current director or employee any outstanding terms under which they can receive "cheap shares"?
3) Can the Club board clarify if all the football management team (McDowall, Durrant, Stewart) all took salary cuts and if so, are they permanent or deferred?
4) Does the Club board ever take the football manager and his assistants to task over the drastic fall in attendances due to the poor standard of play?
5) Has the board made the manager and his assistants aware that the supporters consider their salary levels to be outrageous and that all four should consider leaving their posts?
6) The single largest item in the accounts is noted as "Other operating charges". As this is for £16.4m can we not be given a better break-down of what is involved?
7) The amounts paid to previous CEOs have been outrageous in the extreme. Can we be assured that Mr Llambias will have a more realistic salary in relation to our situation?
8) Why was Norman Crighton voted off the board?
9) When will a new Financial Director be appointed? When will Mike Ashley appoint a second person on the board? Will it be Mr. Barry Leach.
10) What does the Board intend to do about marketing the Rangers brand? We have failed miserably in this regard for many years. We do not promote our Club well at all. We have an excellent brand name and facilities but fall short when getting our message across to sponsors, advertisers, fans, etc.
11) Will the Club board do anything about our non-existent PR? RFC must have the worst PR in the country. We should be protecting the RFC name at all times but do nothing when our detractors attack us via the media.
12) Will the Club be looking at setting up a proper scouting system? We have been negligent in this department no doubt due to financial constraints however such a system could be profitable in the future.
13) Our bitter rivals’ total audit fee for last year was £34,000. Why are Rangers paying their auditors 5 times this at a ridiculous £170,000 ?
14) Why did Graham Wallace receive a bonus given the condition that it was to be results-based?
15) Can the Club board clarify if the merchandise deal with Sports Direct gives us 51% of the profit made on sales?
16) Can the Club board clarify if RFC has received the payment (in the region of £3m) which was apparently outstanding from Sports Direct?
17) There is an item where we have apparently to pay £411k to buy stock at greater cost than the resale value. This surely deserves some clarification.
18) The retail deal appears to only generate 15% profit on sales for the Club, is that correct? If not, can we be advised of the correct percentage?
19) Will the Club be reviving the Museum proposal? Although the initial proposal was to utilise Copland House, it is my opinion that Edmiston House would be far more suitable. Club shop on ground floor, Cafe/sports bar on first floor and museum on top floor. These would be income-generating.
20) In view of recent developments and taking account of all known factors concerning the criminal behaviour involved in the demise of our former parent company and the subsequent impact on our football club, will the Board demand apologies from the SFA, SPFL and certain clubs for the treatment our club has received from these quarters? It is now apparent to the world that we have been victims of crime and victims of the grossly unfair sanctions which were set on Rangers Football Club. Some appeared to attempt to kill the club entirely. Whilst this is not technically anything to do with our current parent company, it is my firm belief that the Rangers Football Club (established in 1872) and its supporters, shareholders and employees deserve the most grovelling apology from those aforementioned parties.
21) Why did the chairman allegedly say we can't we use the training ground as security at the moment?
22) How are we planning to strengthen the squad? We have 12 senior players heading out of contract and no scouts.
23) If promotion is not achieved this season what are the major downsizing adjustments (financial and in terms of the size of the playing pool) that would need to be made?
24) If promoted will Celtic be allocated the same 1200 tickets as every other club?
25) Giving youth a chance. Our squad is very much older than other clubs (eg Hearts).

Ally's job remit was to get us back in top flight. And is that really the biggest issue going on at the club??

It is when you support Rangers and go to Ibrox to watch footy. I doubt the board will cross my mind at all when at the footy tomorrow, but then again, we have groups that are solely interested in the financial side of things and couldn't care less about the football.
