Redwhiteandblue 3,330 Posted August 8, 2015 Share Posted August 8, 2015 Last season we had 3 left backs (Wallace, Smith & Foster) Foster and Smith are gone, so what happens if we get injuries?I know at a push, Wilson could play as a left back, and from what I have seen of Tav, he could probably play over there with McGregor filling in for the player who had switched position, but now that we are playing the same formation and tactics through all age levels, I would expect there to be a pecking order and by the looks of things, we should be able to afford to play a youngster if we have an injury.So rather than doing what we have been doing since Walter came back and shoehorning players into a position, who would be the replacement for Wallace and Tav if they pick up injuries?
