BlueSuedeSambas 56,413
I'm not convined he'll be as prolific as he has been so far when we move up a level but he's a brilliant option to have somewhere in the front three.
TopCat 4,511
He could nutmeg a mermaid I reckon he could top 30 goals this season if he steers clear of injury.
gav1991 23
It's weird though cuz he's not even playing as a true striker. He drops back a lot, but has still managed 11 goals. Very impressed so farMajority have been pens so far 2 weeks in a row he has scored from open play tho hope he keeps it up ??
Del 667
I like Waghorn but he's not proven anything yet for me. A goals a goal but I think he is much more effective out wide driving in but I'm delighted with the job he's doing at the minute!
TheLawMan 6,240
Was one of the very first games and loads were picking other obvious man of the matches but Waghorn was superb and my MOTM. He has just carried that on and as well as a goalscorer he is a team player.
cp9 753
well maybe I`ll buck the trend just a wee bit. I think through the middle waghorn is wasted and ineffective. When he`s on the right he is brilliant. Kenny Miller will see us through this season but we need a quality striker for next season.I`d like to see someone through the middle that is a threat when we cross the ball. Wag horns threat is when he comes in from the right and hits them. His work rate and hold up / link up play is brilliant at times.Yes he will score 25+ this season with at least 10 being penalties. I`m also very happy that we now have a penalty taker we can 100% trust. I can see where you're coming from, but I don't completely agree with it. Yes he's missed a few good chances, an open header against hibs sticks in my head, but no striker is ever going to have a 100% strike rate. Every team wants a goal scorer and I think even the magician would struggle to Magic up a player, for similar value for money, that waggy has offered. Yes he's not an out and out goal scorer. But tbh, we haven't really struggled scoring this season.
