The manager too. I can't imagine what they must be thinking of the Scottish game after what they were subjected to yesterday. It's always been said that players get paid plenty & the stick comes with the territory. Well these guys aren't getting paid what their predecessors were & they all could probably make more elsewhere, with a hell of a lot less hassle. Any man with balls will dig deep and ready themselves for the battle ahead, if they are of the mindset to leave after a little setback " off you go" I understand where you're coming from, but nobody in any profession should have to put up with unprovoked physical abuse. Harry Forrester has sent a really nice tweet thanking the fans for the welcome he has received and saying he is looking forward to the season ahead, so the social media ban must be lifted. I've thought this too, especially the likes of Waggy, Tav, Wallace, Miller etc., whose kids will likely have been at the game in the hope we won and they got to be on the pitch celebrating with their dad and the trophy. While it's maybe unlikely that players will want to leave, especially the likes of Miller and Wallace, I can't imagine any of our players or their wives feeling comfortable enough to let their children on the pitch at any future cup final we compete in, why put their trust that those responsible can keep them safe? It's a real shame for those players, they should be able to share those kind of moments with their children, cup finals with my dad are great memories for me and we were only in the stands. We'reGoingFor55 17
I noticed that Waggy has retweeted the recent statement too.
