Taipan 580 Posted February 15, 2017 Share Posted February 15, 2017 I suspect the conversation on Monday went along the lines of 'you want rid of my clients and they want to move on, if you waive your right to compensation then they will resign' to which our directors responded 'we will waive our right to compensation.' Burning question thereafter is whether our directors confirmed that the resignation was consequently accepted on the basis that the agent offered a basis of termination and it was accepted at that point, or, it was not accepted and it was popped back into the agent's court without acceptance. If the agent did not subsequently withdraw the offer to terminate, it was within the board's right to accept it at a later point, and this is what they did on Friday.
