He showed enough at Hearts to warrant the step up to Rangers, and most people thought he was a decent signing at the time. If we hadn't died (and then been reborn as a brand new club in the third division) then I have no doubt Wallace would have improved as a player. The season we won the championship he was fantastic, I know it's the Championship but he if he kept that up he'd have easily been good enough for this level.
