Da Man 0 Posted January 6, 2007 Share Posted January 6, 2007 I'm a wee bit surprised tae see so many Gers fans doin cartwheels now that PLG is back in France in a trance after being shown up by Celtic.The thing is,and i'm sure there are a number of Gers fans who will remember this,is that i said at the start of the season that the Tic would walk the league by at least 12 points this season,it looks more like 20 + points the way things are going,but before you guys start banging the drum for Wattie and Ally,just remember one thing,he wont have a 10th of the money he had when he was last in charge at Ibrox unless of course David Murray digs into his reserves and goes back into debt again,which i doubt very much.Another de facto is that Celtic,by their outstanding performances this season,have also contributed to PLG's downfall,and before anyone starts saying "what outstanding performances"all i will say is that WGS has more points won than even the great MON himself at this stage of the season,that is a fact,and you cant argue with stats can you.
