its been reported that juan pablo sorin has had his contract paid off by hamburg sv.

hes 32 years old left back and been in the argentina squad well over 30 times.

i know papac does very little wrong defencively but offers very little in an attacking sense and stevie smiths injured again.

so what do u all think?? http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_3821506,00.html

He only left Fulham for Birmingham because they played a direct style of football.

I still think he's a good player, who has lost his way a bit. However we shouldn't give him the opportunity to prove he can still be a good player.

We've tried it numerous times, namely with Jeffers and Bernard and it's about time somebody else did.

past his best but then again he was so good even being past his best he would still be a quality signing for us and we could get a couple of good years out of him. cant see it happening but would certainly give us more of an attacking threat down the left hand side.

Sorín Returns To Cruzeiro

Juan Pablo Sorín has agreed to return to Cruzeiro to complete his recovery program. The Argentine international is currently a free agent after his club, Hamburger SV, decided to terminate his contract for being an injury-plagued player.

Sorín has now decided to return to Cruzeiro, the club he represented during almost two seasons, despite not having signed for the Brazilian outfit as of yet.

The 32-year-old left back, who suffered a knee injury which will keep him on the sidelines for three more months, will continue his recovery at Cruzeiro's facilities.

When Sorín regains full fitness, he is expected to put pen to paper on a permanent deal with A Raposa.
