Boab 73
Not long back from the Casino, thought I'd give you a wee shout on how I got on. Had some Beer Battered Cod Fillets with Chips and Mushy Peas, were lovely if only too small a portion for my liking as the Fish were more like goujons in size/shape. Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnyway....Onto the gambling... Before the David Haye fight, I put a Tenner on the Roulette to get a wee taster and lost it and said I'd go back after the fight as we were only having a wee wander. After the fight, we headed back up to the Roulette tables. I put a Twenty down and on the last few chips of that, one of which was a 6-9 split, I got the 6 and played with those chips before I lost them. When I lost those, I put another twenty down and on my last few chips, I won on a single 21 and won £35 back. We were due to go at that time anyway, so it was ideal for me to scamper. I know that that wasn't/isn't a profit from the £50 but I was/am happy considering that was my first real (arguably big) win of any kind - my 2nd time at the Casino and had lost all of the £50 I think then - and that was from my last few chips. I also reflected/decided tonight that I don't have to put as much on just because 'I'm in a Casino' and could just put Twenty pound if I want to. Also decided to learn other Casino games, like Blackjack which I watched and tried to learn from tonight. A good night, might go back for the Hatton fight after my pal saying.
