edranger 0
RANGERS winger Chris Burke has been linked with a move to Nottingham Forest. Reports in Scotland suggest the Reds could move for the Ibrox player in the January transfer window. The 24-year-old Glasgow-born Burke has struggled to get into the first team this season after a long-term ankle injury. The winger is believed to have been watched by Forest chief scout Keith Burt during the reserve clash with Inverness and Ibrox boss Walter Smith would be prepared to cut his losses on the player. http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk/football...il/article.html
wronglypenalised 14
Think it would be best for all parties, by all accounts Burke has flattered to deceive in the majority of games played for us, perhaps he would flourish under another environment where the fans aren't as demanding for trophies and victories. Emerson 2
Would go down and 'do a Gow' probably by being their best player. Another If only... player.

radlord 24
He's just the sort of player we need just now. However if he's struggling to beat people these days, plus he's certainly on high wages for what we get out of him, then he should definitely go. rfc_no1fan 13
Burke has his faults, but he is plays in a position we are crying out for. Wonder with central player we have got lined up to replace him
Muff 245
Well we always have the best utility man in World football - Our blue eyed superstar, Lee McCulloch. I'm sure given a few games out there, he could become the next Ricardo Quaresma!
Goianegra 4,686
Well we better get a decent winger then.
TheWholeStruth 7
Seems like a lifetime ago that he was the only shining light when he broke through in that dreadful McLeish team. Injury and sunstroke (jesus wept) have left him nothing more than a wages thief. Time we free up his 12 grand a week and wish him luck elsewhere. BlueSuedeSambas 54,128
In this current climate we really need to try and get a few bargains. I'd punt Burke, even if we only get £500,000 for him and bring in Uğur Yıldırım on a short term deal until the end of the season to replace him in the squad. We are crying out for a winger who is capable with a deal ball and if he does well we could even leave the option of an extension should he show the form he showed at Herenveen.
