Wullie! 8
I almost cried when I heard the team selection today. Out of the starting 11, McGregor, Broadfoot, Weir, Mendes and Boyd would have been the only starters. Why Walter would play McCulloch anywhere on the park is beyond me. To play him in defense is touching on insanity. Walter Smith should be escorted by the men in white coats if this continues.

Battering the ball up the park. Ignoring shouts from McGregor to leave the ball. Putting it out for a throw in when he could have easily passed it back. Do you think that small detail is gonna stop some people having a pop at Smith? It could have been 6-0 and they'd still be queueing up. McCulloch had a good game yesterday, anyone who seriously denies that obviously has their own agenda.

Laugh all you want Wullie, the plain truth is McCulloch has become a hate-figure among some Bears for no other reason than Walter rates him. We're not in the dressing room or on the training pitches so we have little or no idea what he, or any other player for that matter, brings to the club. Ok - so excluding the ones you think shouldn't have started and those injured or unavailable - here's a list of players in our first team squad as listed on the Rangers website - Dailly, Edu, Smith, Velicka, Burke, Aaron, Novo, Beasley Care to pick 6 from there to make up your staring 11? (I've left out Alexander and Graeme Smith as even Walter woudln't play 2 goalkeepers)
