ekbear93 3
Lafferty is not a winger, so why play him there? Why were Lafferty and Novo not switched when Novo was brought on? Only Walter knows that I suppose. So who would you like to see become the regular left winger? Personally I would try out one of the younger guys. They couldn't be any worse than big Charlie anyway! Canadaready 9,437
Just play Aaron. These are games that could be developing him!
ScotBear 144
Fleck in left side, Lafferty up top with Miller (or Novo). 85-86 minutes today, McGregor launches the ball high up field. Lafferty has his back to goal around the half way line with a Celtic player at his back, and takes it down killing it stone dead with his first touch. Holds it, plays it to a team-mate and then runs on forward. When he picked up the ball out wide though, he looked uncomfortable and wanted to come inside all the time. He's a striker, not a winger, and that's the sort of play we were missing today. Someone that could play with their back to goal, hold defenders off and allow the midfield to press higher up the park. Our midfield were reduced to trying 40 yard passes over the top because we didn't manage to push the play high enough up the park.

Tommy WATP 86
Inverness weekend and i hope to see Aaron start Walter move on from the stone-age and give us wingers We have a boy here with a great skill level, good crossing and great pace yet you decide to play players out of position Aaron needs his chance
Rab74RFC 0
We have Beasley, a natural left winger. We have Aaron, a natural winger capable of playing on both wings. We have Fleck, a natural winger/attacking midfielder who players on the left. Yet we play Adam.

We have Fleck, a natural winger/attacking midfielder who players on the left. Yet we play Adam. They were saying on Clyde 1 that Hinkle is the weakest player in the celtic team, so we should have exploited it and had an attacking minded winger on, who was willing to run at him. Any of the 3 players you mentioned would have done that today and one of them should deffinetly be given a chance to prove themselves at Inverness next week. AdzKyle 7,897
RB and CB are more urgent issues than left wing IMO. Disagree because with a proper winger we would be pushing a lot more and scoring more goals. Although both the positions you mentioned do need strengthened this bloddy LM position needs sorted out fast because it really is a joke, not to mention a waste of a player. With RB and CB sorted we wouldn't concede the stupid goals we have been conceding all season - including today
Tommy WATP 86
RB and CB are more urgent issues than left wing IMO. It is easier for us to solve the LW problem as we have 3 options , Beasley,Aaron and Fleck CB and RB are dreadful so we have to bring in new players

Everyone realises it, except the management team.
delparlane 5,692
Take Mac out of goal and put him and Alexander on either wing. Since Laffery is tall, what a fine goalie he'd make! Joking, Wattie. Joking.
