I agree. Lose the club, lose the fans whether it be 100, 200 or 1000. Fan bases live for their clubs.

Cannot disagree. However these same fans might argue that their individual clubs are sustainable. My main point is that people are the lifeblood of the game, esp in Scotland, where access to media/marketing money is limited. Fans need and deserve to be part of the equation.

It's far too easy to say "get rid". It is probable most of the fan base of these clubs are as fanatical about their club as we are to ours. Their team is a huge part of their lives, as it is with us. I agree something needs done. Haven't thought about it much so can't offer a remedy, although some sort of summer footie might increase attendances. My point is if my team was " got rid of" I would be distraught. They DID try and I was. So we must think very deeply about the respective fan bases, as team supporters, before any drastic action, or just thoughts, is taken to their team.

Garner is a tough player and will get plenty of shit and does give plenty. He knows that and accepts it with a grin. He is superb. As for the ref, I thot he was just about OK but Garner, despite what I just said, did not get the fouls he deserved. The deliberate kick to McKays face was the biggest faux pas.

Your opinion mate is very valid. We were shite today and there can be no argument against that, I think. However, how they ended up with 11 players on the pitch baffles me. They had an obvious agenda when it came to petty fouling and was most definately discussed in their match build up. The foul against Windass, or Windass's throat, in the second half, was worthy of a red card and would have given the ref the opportunity to look as if he was in charge. But no, like every other blatant foul to stop Rangers progressing, he ignored it. Note virtually all of these blatant fouls was not in the final third. Then he books Holt for what was a 100% penalty. It makes you wonder just a wee bit. Again though we should have had the game won with first half chances so maybe it's just sour grapes from me.

I agree with that although he almost gave away a second due to his reluctance to tackle. There is not a lot being said about our goalkeeper not being encouraged to kick the ball out. Last night was farcical. St J closed us down every time Fotheringham rolled the ball out and we panicked. It was an absolute joke and showed up the lack of quality in the back four. Holt did try and ease the pressure but he was having an off night. When McKay came on he picked up the ball several times on the 18 yd area and played the ball forward and found players with ease unlike the back four who resorted to humping the ball forward and St J players saying ta very much literally every time.

There is no way we should have lost today. 63% possession and the sheep showing nothing. Defence was fine bar a monumental blip. We are failing badly in the scoring department and scoring is MW's philosophy. Score more than the opposition. I am totally gutted. The sheep were shite and that is worrying. If we rely on a theory that if the opposition score 2 we will score 3 then we need better than Waghorn and even more, we need better delivery from width than McKay or ???? are giving us at the moment. It is too easy for teams to pack defences and deny us thru the middle.

All I am saying is that he destroyed us last year playing thru middle. We have not given that opportunity. I personally don't like or rate him, no control, but we got him on the thru the middle performance. I think.
