  1. Agree with the observation that a large part of the fantastic result we were able to achieve was down to him.
  2. Ok, there is also record of flimsy defense and poor legal advise given in relation to those charged, plead guilty etc. There should have been more acquittals. There are also a range of laws currently on the book which if applied could be used to tackle unacceptable behavior, that’s another reason it went.
  3. Of being whatever the law deemed at the time, a criminal.
  4. Could surely now defend it a bit easier in a job interview type situation. You’re vindicated if you ask me.
  5. Have a think about that you’re saying, it’s repealed because a majority of MSPs appose it, there’s no evidence this same majority of cross party MSPs would automatically support something else. Its been repealed because it’s unenforceable, unlawful, discriminatory and does more harm then good needlessly giving young men criminal records. The law was an absolute disgrace and a stain on this country.
  6. No, that wasn't the scenario at all. Wasn't many moons ago, and definitely was charged under OBFA. I remember his picture somewhere, was just for singing that song, might have been at Ibrox. Was a student I think. Think he got let off as "not proven". The act is due to be repealed this Thursday in parliament.
  7. Am I missing something? The law is getting binned on Thursday yet it was written today? A bit late no? It's also inaccurate in that there has been a Partick Thistle fan prosecuted for singing that very song.
  8. Don't you understand that any number of songs could get you lifted under OBFA but far fewer would conceivable see any intervention under BOP or any other law? Rangers fans have been charged singing BMG and Father's Advice under OBFA. Singing these songs in a football stadium isn't going to result in a BOP charge, what other charges could be leveled at you for singing these songs other than OBFA? There a couple of basket case songs which were twisted as being racist (famine song for one) which may attract police attention and possibly TBB due to previous legal precedent although they are about the only ones that could see you in hot water. Yes, shouting FB may still get you in trouble. There were and far more that you would need to worry about under OBFA.
  9. Further still, there need not actually be anyone offended, just that someone (hypothetical, present of otherwise) may have found the behavior offensive.
  10. Has some nice touches, then so did Mr. Woo.
  11. Full ballot for every game is fairest, but due to quirks of randomnes would probably lead to people being allocated three in a row and others nothing, leaving the ticket office open to complaints. They probably do it this way for an easier time. It's not the fairest at all. Allocated one game then taken out of the ballot for a load that you actually wanted.
  12. Point I made on another thread. Will even itself out over a number of years, but in a one off season, it's not the fairest.
  13. Straight ballot for every game is the easiest to administer too as less chance of ticket offic fuck ups which no doubt occur from time to time. Just making life easy for themselves as straight ballot for every game would no doubt due to the quirks of randomness mean some people get three in a row and some get none meaning complaints.
  14. So you're at the mercy of the fixture list? I.e two less than glamorous away fixtures to start off with, one third miss out on both then Aberdeen away comes around and one third are right at the front of the queue. Should even itself out over a number of years but for a sample one season this method doesn't seem right. How would ballotting everybody for every game not reach the same end result of everybody receiving roughly the same number of games? As has been mentioned, this is the fairest. Straight ballot for every game.
  15. Don't really get the love in for the stadium really, it's nothing special and I was miles from the pitch in the upper stand. Decent, but no better than that. Over Hampden for Semis/finals? No thanks. Think there is a novelty factor at play.
  16. Keep ticket stub for anything I attend, gigs, even museums. Got a shit load. It's never too late to start folks, they'll build up quickly. Hopefully still have the '97 New year game stub somewhere, that will be my first likely.
  17. With no home games I emailed and got posted, £7 but.
  18. Have to be aff yer heed to buy that £55 two months into the season. Agree re the comments it's a training top with a blue trim, insulting effort tbf. as for the "discount"....
  19. Cünts behind the goal held on to it if it went into the stand, then hilariously disrupted the game by then throwing it back onto the field after a replacement was saught. Struck me as being completely dumb, why disrupt a game that they were in control of and doing well in? Did it at least three times.
  20. Thought we were mostly patheric today. Penà played some nice short passes but was mostly overran. Old Firm games are just becoming a total humiliation.
