mrwin 393 Posted September 25, 2012 Share Posted September 25, 2012 GIORGIO’S DRAGON (Beverley 4.40) shaped really well two outings ago at Thirsk on his only outing on easy ground to date, fourth and under pressure approaching the final furlong but staying on really well to pull a long way clear with in-form winner Ingleby Angel, who won again off a 6lb higher mark on heavy ground at Ayr last week. Bearing in mind that run, it’s no surprise that Giorgio’s Dragon was unable to make any impact dropped to 7f on fast ground last time, and he gives the impression the step up in trip and return to what might well be easier ground here will see him in a much better light. 5/1 into 11/4.
