WATPRFCNo1 0 Posted August 4, 2008 Share Posted August 4, 2008 it'll be a sad day when Barry announces he wont be playing anymore, regardless of recent form, I think he'll be back for most of this season though and it will be a big boost when he returns, we might think hes a bit off the boil these days but its clear he plays an important role in the team. He should have gotten it sorted earlier and although not in his best interests, he fought through injury so he could run out onto the pitch at Ibrox every week, Im not expecting too much but with such a long sit out he'll be coming back somewhat fresh, interested to see how he'll do. Were we not told by Walter that Barry's current injury had nothing to do with the one he was carrying towards the end of the season? A lot of people off here own me an apology as I told them at the time it the same injury he'd been carry! Very few people on RM ever have the decency to hold their hands up in concession of being wrong. I have admit on occasions when I've be wrong, but some people made me out to be all that is bad for not believing that it was a different injury and I know the exact thread. Lets remember we were only 225 minutes away from it !!! He would of been one of the biggest Legends at the club EVER if we had. And i no for a fact not one of those players would of been more gutted than bazza in manchester. I would of been totally gutted for him had he missed it. skins 20 Posted August 4, 2008 Share Posted August 4, 2008 Barry didn't have the best of seasons last year but when you look at the shambles of a midfield we have without him in it he still managed to drag them through. Barry's best season was when he had Ronald de Boer to feed off of. Put some decent players in there with him and he'll have a great second half of the season!!
