Throw in Davis and Shagger aswell and we can have 900 million ugandan dollars

If you send me your bank details, you too could have 900 million ugandan dollars. no charge. is good deal, we make nice price.

Completely agree, though, let's just get rid of the only actual, proven, talent we have and see where we end up.

A lot of its to do with frustration about the lack of service and generally poor style of football we play. Also the fact he is not quite as good as last seasons hype suggested.

He was also probbaly really looking forward to playing CL...

Jelavic isn't what I'd call a natural goalscorer either. Even last season, his finishing was hit and miss.

I've always felt he was more of a second striker, linking up (which he does very well), flicking it on, bringing others into play, and creating angles with his movement.

I strongly feel he needs somebody to work with, as well as support from the midfield getting beyond him. We do not utilise his linking and flick on abilities anywhere near enough.

This is true... when it's passed forward to Jelavic, Davis is usually still in his own half..

To be honest mate , im just feeling so pissed off and low about tonight I'm just looking for any excuse to vent my frustration

I think I should log off and come back with a better head

Fuck that mate. Let it out. (tu) I'm not upset you called me a zoomer!!

Obviously Jelavic was a great striker for us last season. I'm just asking the question about how we would/should treat any decent offer we get for him.

Jelavic is so badly off form it is showing how short of another quality striker we are.

Worrying thing for me is not only is he off form, but he looks so disinterested on the park. Shows very little emotion this season when decisions going against him (as opposed to last season when every decision fiercely contested), looks yards slower and is overall playing with so much less enthusiasm.

In the summer I remember the usual suspects claiming he would be off to Man Utd or suchlike for 15 million quid.

But really, Goodwillie cost Blackburn 2.8 million, at this time does anyone honestly think Jelavic would even justify that kind of price tag?

If Goodwillie is the benchmark then yes. Jelavic is easily worth more than that.

Thank you for your constructive criticism! :pipe:

Are you seriously saying Jelavic is our best player so far this season? I think not.

Maybe you should take time to read what I am actually saying first.

yes i read it, you even flung the figure of ten million in there!!! doh (with brackets)

yeah good plan, lets sell jelavic!!

That will win us the league no bother, what a fuckin genius you are!!!

get beat in europe.... sell your best player!!

Not one shot on target over the two legs. Says it all if you ask me.

That's what happens when fuds like Broadfoot just try to hoof it into the box all day, and end up hitting it long or out for a goal kick.

He's our best player and worth no less than £10m.

Not my valuation. That's what he's apparently worth in these parts! If we did get that kind of money (which is really what the point of this thread is....hypothetical), we would obviously be able to buy other strikers. Lets not forget that he missed a good whack of the league last season, and he wasn't even out top scorer. In fact. Can you tell me how many SPL match winning goals he scored?

Thanks. But if it's all the same, I think Coisty's doing a grand job...unlike the players! (tu)

Not your valuation but i'm guessing you do have a brain since you can use a computer and if you did have any common sense you would know we won't get 10 million for him!!

sorry don't keep stats, can you tell me who scored the most spl winning match goals without googling it???

could it be down to the fact he has(and others too)no faith in our managerial set up.

I didn't say we would get £10m for him :D That's why I used that small word 'if'.

No. But I'm telling you it wasn't Jelavic. We will still win the league with or without him. That's what I'm saying! ;)

Nah. Just put the question out there....'IF' we did get a bid of that level...in the best interests of the club, should we take it? :)

You been on the sauce?

Yeah lets sell Jelavic with 6 days of the window left & sign kevin kyle (tu)

Can he play in Eur......oh, wait...never mind! (tu)

On-form he's a real threat and defences hate him. Quite off right now but we can't afford to sell our best players at this stage, we need to build, gel the team and have a crack at the remaining 3 trophies on offer.
