Even last season, his finishing was hit and miss.I've always felt he was more of a second striker, linking up (which he does very well), flicking it on, bringing others into play, and creating angles with his movement.I strongly feel he needs somebody to work with, as well as support from the midfield getting beyond him. We do not utilise his linking and flick on abilities anywhere near enough.This is true... when it's passed forward to Jelavic, Davis is usually still in his own half.. Shows very little emotion this season when decisions going against him (as opposed to last season when every decision fiercely contested), looks yards slower and is overall playing with so much less enthusiasm.
