I wonder what it was like to found a team form nothing and twenty years later, thousands of people are coming to watch the team you created.

what a proud moment that must have been for Tom Vallance and coming up for our 150th anniversary would be fitting if we done something to recognize this and our gallant pioneers

I love that Tom Vallance was present the days when the ball was being kicked over the dandelions on Fleshers Haugh in 1872, and towards the end of his life watched Rangers play in front of crowds in excess of 100,000 people.

you wouldn't mess with big Harold reading stories about him i dont know if this is true but when i was in the townhead supporters bus there was a great character called stevie who tells a story of slim jim showboating in a european game at Ibrox and not playing the simple pass, at half time big Harold got Baxter by the shirt pinned against the wall more or less telling him not to do it again. i dont know if this story was true but if it was epitomises big harold.

Not half as ugly as the organ grinder's monkey wearing it mate ...... due to a serious miscalculation in character judgement .... the unfortunate organ grinder decided to sack his Macari and sell his own organs to make ends meet .......
