Exactly this. Not only have Kent and Morelos not done much to warrant their starting position, but if they are leaving - and I now hope they do as their sell on value is minimal even with a contract in place - then we need to start preparing now for next season using only the players who will be here. There are youth players who have been getting rave reviews who have barely had a look in this season also. Time to give them a chance and see which ones can contribute next season.

Was the right thing to do ultimately. But…. 1)Should have been several bookings for how Tillman was treated after the goal. 2)Tillman not in anyway to blame as he was unaware. He’s the one I feel for in this. 3)Should have been a booking for the original foul/stamp on Tillman. 4)Separate issue, but this ‘give the ball back by booting it the full length of the pitch’ thing annoys me as it’s effectively a free clearance, not giving the ball back. The gesture is barely sporting in nature. 5)Other teams may not do that for us, but we do want to aim higher than other teams right?

Literally can’t understand modern footballers doing that nonsense. In a goal scoring position you do everything you physically can to get the ball in the net, unless someone physically knocks you over. Could have had a goal if he had been committed to actually trying to score one.

It’s a fair point, but Alfie is playing like he also hasn’t kicked a ball in ages. And he looks like it too.

He’s comfortably the best player in the team, but is let down by having to do link up play with various shitebags around him.

Never in doubt 😁 Seriously though, even with the injured players coming back that no matter how this seasons ends (almost certainly 2nd place), it must surely be clear to Beale already that he needs a pretty major overhaul to at least half of the starting 11.

Given the position we find ourselves in just now with a million injuries and players who are off form, then I don't see how this can be anything other than a positive. Even if he's not a world beater it's 1 more option we have.

Can't get excited about all this chat of replacing Gio until I see a few realistic names who would be a fairly safe bet to drastically improve things. Getting rid of an underperforming manager is only half the challenge. The easy half. And even then, whoever comes in will inherit the same injury nightmare.
