  1. Nah not for me, my Love for Rangers far out weighs my dislike for the spud brigade. I'd take a Rangers victory all day long.
  2. This is infact the last year the Spl winner get automatic qualification. As for the original poster, out of that pot we have to pay around 300 members of staff + Running costs of Ibrox and Murray park.
  3. Really, i wish Novo had his natural touch and control, Wee Nacho has a habbit of making a football run like a rugby ball!
  4. If Levein picked a team like that he would be up for the chop and i'd be first in line to do it. Greegsy, Hutton Boyd and Miller i'd be happy with, the rest, nah not for me.
  5. Who gives a toss? I do, i want to know why we are pissing into the wind with a guy like Lafferty in the knowledge we could have had this fella on our books.
  6. I firmly believe the £18 million offer is a fabricated story, if had been made im certain Lloyds would have been interested. That is more than half the money they are due and they could have negotiated a re-payment plan of the remaining 12/13 million. If they were really that desperate, they would have taken this offer.
  7. He just doesn't have what it takes to cut it at Rangers, i really hate to say it for the lad, but its true. How long can we go giving him chance after chance. In a season and a half i can hardly remember him play a decent game. The final straw for me was against Aberdeen last season, that shambolic incident should have been the end of him.
  8. Big Ecks still a top man in my book, i never wanted him gone either come to think of it.
  9. Regardles of where our great club ends up, i would urge all fans to keep backing the team and keep filling Ibrox.
  10. Murray has just bought over Cockburn's of Leith Wine Importers, a company who in January fell into Administration. Now if Murray's financial situation is as dire as we are lead to believe, what the hell is he doing buying into a debt loaded company. The whole situation is so complicated because nobody has he real figures. If we had somebody lay them on the table in black and white me may actualy know just where we stand.
  11. For what..... post #218 its been changed now apparantly your well known on ff I used to post there.....some people disagreed with me..... Christ, i got banned because i said i wasn't a fan of Nacho Novo, i think it was about my 7th post. I was told i must be a Tim, as he is the greatest player to grace the Ibrox turf.
  12. If they lay the figures on the table and let us (the fans) know what is required, then maybe we can all help. Im serious, stop hiding the truth.
  13. What i want to know is, just how much truth was behind Dave King's supposed bid of £18 million? If thats the maximum he can put in, is he currently working with others to find the rest?...........and just when the hell is Johnston going to make another appearance?
  14. If the existance of this great club depends on it, then get right in there.
  15. Im pretty sure i remember Martin Bain saying we make 15-20 million from ticket sales in a season.
  16. If that arse Dave King can come up with 20 million, then we need 100,000 supporters to cough up £100 pound each. Problem solved. Now, who is any good with money matters? get something rolling here.
  17. Despite that intake, we still have huge running costs, so that cant be put into clear debt right away.
  18. Nope, it was 31 million, so should technically be down to 29.5 with the sale of Mendes. We also have lightend weekly running costs by 40k with pedro and rothen off the wage bill.
  19. I would be surprised that Tennents just signed a multi-million pound deal if they had any idea of the "worst happening" to Rangers come the summer. Still, it is a worry. I reckon we need to qualify for the Champions league and sell 10 million worth of players to keep Lloyds at bay.
  20. When is he due back? next league game too soon?
  21. What was the atmosphere like against Hearts last week? I didnt make the game but always find Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen and obviously the tims are good atmospheres. It tends to be the "easier" games its flat. That said, the Champions League games this year had poor atmosphere.
  22. I'd love to see Bougherra get a game up front, just for a laugh, but i actualy think he would do really well. Being serious though, i reckon this is partly why Wilson doesn't want to sign a new deal, he knows he will be dropped. My feeling is Weir will hang his boots up in the summer and Webster will come back in as his replacement. A mate of mine is a United season ticket holder and has raved about the big man all season. So if we keep Bougy, it will be him and Webster the main pairing.
  23. Even it meant losing a bit of pace, i think the guy needs to put on a stone or 2. He just cant cope with the physical side of the game here.
  24. Alexander Papac Bougherra Wilson Broadfoot McCulloch Davis Thomson Fleck Little Novo I would love to see Watty go with something like this for the game. Stick those 3 up front and that gives plenty pace and movement, while Davis can command from the centre of the park with his hatchetmen either side to mop up.
