  1. Maybe he has got another vineyard lined up.
  2. I suggest you read your question again...
  3. Klos Lambert Nerlinger Prso Berg DeBoer DeBoer Van Bronkhorst Larson
  4. This was what we were all talking about: http://sport.stv.tv/football/108257-david-trezegue-is-unlikely-rangers-target/ Absolutely incredible!
  5. Much better for him to get some first team football under his belt, didnt do Shagger any harm.
  6. While it is not his fault he cost the best part of £4M, it is his fault he cannot take on a man or score in the 8 games in a row he had up front when Boyd was out. We saw glimpses of what he is capable of, but he has had TWO years now, and its not as if he is playing bit parts, he seems to be starting most matches. At times he really is a waste of a jersey, and I cannot see where the support for him comes from, whereas the likes of Adam, Boyd and Whittaker etc have received far more criticism in the past few years.
  7. Is it not time we opened the Transfer/Rumour section to keep all this pish out of the Den?
  8. As a player, anything more than £750K would be too much. But he really does blow hot and cold, and his hot is only luke warm IMO. Unfortunately he ticks all the boxes of a Smith signing.
  9. I think the money was in place to buy the club, but he had nothing to take the club beyond that. Thats what put Murray off. That and the mere £3M he was to get out of it.
  10. Why WOULDNT a Scottish Rangers fan support Scotland?
  11. Looks like Walters off to the next lodge meet too...
  12. 20 Million? 30 Million? 80 Million? I dont really think it makes a difference to our situation. We are still skint.
  13. If we can maintain a squad that knows the score, I think we will be fine. Replacing the bums on seats that have left is a given though, we were thin on the ground last year but got away with it as the guys were playing for, as opposed to selling, the jersey.
  14. Nacho has spent 6 years at the club and has been a magnificent servant but has had hardly any game time whatsoever the past couple of years and at this stage of his career, that is hard. He is Spanish, and is going home to play in the best league in the world. He has come out and said how much he loves the club and the fans, and was even getting emotional saying farewell. Boyd is at the peak of his career and playing at the team he supported as a boy. He started near enough every game for Rangers, scoring loads of goals in the process. He still has loads to offer and said he wanted to stay at Rangers for a long, long time in January. He is leaving to go to the Championship in search of more money. He didn't really say goodbye the way Nacho did especially at the last game of the season I could go on and on but they are just so different. Novo would have still been a Rangers player today - if he had been offered the two year deal that he wanted. All this shite about not sitting on the bench is nothing but a red herring. Do you not think he deserved that at least?
  15. All I can say is thank God True Bears like Greig, Gough and McCoist etc didnt think after 2 title wins they had done it all at Rangers. Novo goes with my thanks and best wishes. Boyd goes with a knowing shake of my head.
  16. Novo was only offered a one year deal, he was never going to be first pick and is coming to the end of his career. A chance to finally crack it in the big time back home? Who would begrudge him that after everything he has done? The difference is Novo also seems sincerely distraught about leaving the club, whereas Boyd for a supposed fan, did not really seem to care as much as his Spanish counterpart.
  17. Was he not about to sign just before Flo all those years ago?
  18. Maybe, but now he has 2 years to show what he is capable of at a better level than the SPL. If he continues to score he will still only be 28, available on a free again and maybe a bigger club will come calling. I think he has given himself a chance at Boro rather than sitting on the bench at Blackburn.
  19. Does it really matter where he ends up? He turned his back on his supposed beloved Gers, and at that point I stopped caring about him. My main conceren is there seems to be a serious lack of urgency in signing up players approaching the end of their contracts, especially with Thomson and co due to expire in 12 months.
  20. To me this suggests a lack of faith in Lafferty. I would prefer getting a first 11 sorted out before signing back up players. We should be concentrating on width long before another striker. The thought of going into the season relying on Lafferty, Naismith and Fleck out wide does not fill me with confidence. Saying that, the windows been open only less than a week!
  21. So their answer to their supposed problem area is Mulgrew? Suddenly 3IAR doesnt seem as hard as it did.
