  1. I reckon this is more rubbish from the Daily Rectum and Boogie won't play. Sadly.
  2. Quite a mess over the sending-off with the wrong player (Berra) being booked then, after protests from Liverpool during which Reina ran the length of the field to get involved, Ward eventually being shown a second yellow.
  3. Anything that is not a free webmail account that can be setup in a matter of minutes if you get banned. Listen we didn't bring the issue into the spotlight but since the RSA did then we're asking questions that need asked, if you don't agree with our stance then fair enough. VB would be willing to accept any financial punishment on behalf of Rangers F.C and Rangers fans for singing TBB, quite simply it would be a cold day in hell before we paid. Any half decent lawyer wouldn't let the case get this far in the first place. Thanks for trying to get thethread back on track though.. Why the RSA have made their statement is a mystery to me, i can only guess that they or the club suspect that Celtic/certain media or political figures will start complaining to the SFA/SPL/Uefa etc again in an attempt to get us fined or points deducted if we continue to sing TBB. For me it is not a risk woth taking in our present circumstances, we need to be smart here and not try to fight a battle which is already lost. The song is banned and we need deal with that and move on. That's the thing is the song banned? Why is it banned? How did UEFA come to the decison to ban this song and no other? We feel theres a batle to be fought and won, I personally reckon it's worth making a stance on. They either treat us all the same or they let us get on it with it. A poster on VB who I have the utmost respect for left the following post a short while back, Nobody at that meeting saw any such letter from UEFA. Martin Bain held up a piece of paper (without showing the written side) claiming it was a letter from UEFA and stated that the song was now banned. The same khunt from admin on FF told me that the letter(?) was not handed around the table and nobody present asked to see the content. 100% fact! David Edgar of the RST says he has seen the letter (whether at that meeting or at some other time I don't know). Again, you can contact the RST via this link: http://www.rangerssupporterstrust.co.uk/rs...2&Itemid=18
  4. Here's what a prominent member of the RST has said about it today: If you want more info from the RST you can contact them via their website: http://www.rangerssupporterstrust.co.uk/rs...2&Itemid=18
  5. Errmm, no it hasn't. You calling it a fact doesn't make it a fact. The Billy Boys has not been banned. If you have evidence to the contrary, provide it, otherwise don't spout shite and call it fact. UEFA specifically said they would not and could not ban TBB. Nowhere in that article does it say that the law has deemed f***** to mean catholic. Some fucking imbecile defendant said it, the law didn't. So, wrong on both counts, congratulations! djgazbam, you're a fool As regards the court case it wasn't the defendant who suggested "f*****" meant Catholic. It was a police officer giving evidence as a witness - and the court agreed with him. The defendant was found guilty of "breach of the peace aggravated by religious prejudice". That was clearly for his use of the phrase "f***** scum". As for TBB being banned ask the various fans' groups (not just the Assembly but also the RST) who have confirmed it and who have seen the relevant letter to the club from UEFA. Your claim that "UEFA specifically said they would not and could not ban TBB" is an interesting one. Can you back it up?
  6. There's little point in talking about other songs. The fact of the matter is TBB has been banned. We have to look after ourselves. As for a court of law deeming "f*****" to mean Catholic.... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/4422458.stm
  7. The Assembly are right. We stopped singing this song for a long while because of the UEFA ruling. Bringing it back now is risking harm to the club.
  8. 6-0 now, further goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and sub Benzema. Both good goals.
  9. Fantastic goal by Higuiain makes it 4-0 to Real.
  10. Real Madrid 3-0 up on Zaragoza inside half an hour. They're a bit like the Gers.
  11. Well done to Eck and Barry. Amazing miss by Benitez tonight but in the end it didn't matter.
  12. Terrific performance from the Gers. United were honking but that's their problem.
  13. My concern is that we might get crowded out/over-run in central midfield, though we could be running out of options there.
  14. Ex-Gers keeper Callum Reidford conceded the 7 goals I notice.

  16. Krasic, who scored for CSKA, has been superb in the CL and yes Man U have scored. HT there.
  17. Did good stuff when he was with The Faces, and his first 3 solo albums are classics (imho). After that, it was straight doon Mt. Crumpet on a sledge w/ nae brakes. Yeah he did some decent stuff about 40 years ago, to be fair.
  18. The poor old guy's a bit of a mess. Alleged Cockney who was born in well-to-do Highgate in north London. Gets called Rodney but his name is Roderick. His English team's Man U but he grew up supporting local team Arsenal....
  19. Couple of fantastic saves by the unfortunately-named Butt have kept Munchengladbach at bay. Good stuff.
  20. Little is fit again as well. Not a bad idea for McMillan to get some game time. An emergency loan probably won't last long. Little is a striker, come wide player at a push. He's never a defender! Broadfoot and Edu are still sometime away from being fit, just look at the likes of Thomson, Naismith, who have just came back form serious injuries. Jordan McMillan is fully fit, he performed well on his last outing in the middle of the park. He should be given the chance, especially since so many players are failing to perform. But I suppose it must be near on impossible to get a game when the manager has favourites, and continues to play them no matter how piss poor they are, or out of position - thankfully Walter Smith's day's are nearing an end  So he can't play at right-back then, as it would be "out of position"?
