IIRC wasn't there a thread posted on here with an Alastair Johnston interview saying there was interest but couldn't say any more? I think we'd need to look at exactly what AJ said. He might have been talking about something vague rather than a proper bid or official expression of interest. Here it is It might be the difference between "expressing interest" (informally asking some questions or whatever) and a formal "expression of interest".

Not the best news but it's no surprise that there have been no prospective buyers, just a load of BS rumours.

Dunno about the King deal but to be fair to DJ on the Scott Brown thing we were very close to signing him. In fact I believe a deal might have been verbally agreed then Brown went to Celtic for more money.
