  1. We were poor to night, with one one or maybe two or three players getting pass marks in Carlos, McGreggor and Papac. Davis unfortunately had a bad game at the wrong time and wasted a lot of potential chances to create an opportunity in the final third. Use of the ball in the final third in general was terrible to say the least. Broadfoot had a shocker and big David Weir started to get very sloppy and found out in the last 15 mins. This Sporting side are not very good at all so maybe we should be confident of getting something from them in the return leg. At least we kept a clean sheet in the end... thats the only real positive. However, we've been hear before this season and we managed to pull it off, no reason why we might not be able to do so again. Cousin will be a big plus if he is back. I think he'll offer us a lot more up front.
  2. Nice to see us getting a good build up to one of our games for once. Just about to head to the Brox myself in a min...
  3. 1-3!!! Shocking goalkeeping there, but dear lord this team look a decent outfit. They could well knock Bayern out in the next round...
  4. The article is well written, but its littered with falsehoods and stinks of underlying bitterness making it significantly hypocritical. One thing that really annoys me is this idea that Rangers had an "no Catholic" signing policy up until 20 years ago, which is just complete and utter bollocks.
  5. I'm honestly sick to death of hearing about it. Yes, he played for it and there was contact and I don't want to see a Rangers played trying to do that again, BUT, it did not affect the game dramatically in any way. If they cast their minds back to Naka against St Mirren, a game where a dive did alter the outcome of the result, then they shouldn't even have a leg to stand on when contesting this argument.
  6. Do you Celtic fans honestly posses every possible poor human quality?
  7. Too much red and over styled for my liking. I prefer simpler, bolder designs. Less is more.
  8. Novo: "SoIboughtthesebootsandIsaystotheguyI'llstickonepassthetimswiththemhahahahahaha" Boyd: "WTF do you say half the time Nacho"?
  9. Exam or uefa cup final, i know which one i would choose.. then again i know which one my mum would choose! But if i do go to manchester, i will either miss my I2 english exam or arrive home after being awake all night an hour before it starts cannae wait man! Aye thats real clever. I'll just ditch my final BDS exam, a degree which I've be doing for 5 years at University and had to work hard at school in order to get the grades to get accepted into the course. But fuck it I'll just can it at the very last stage Who knows maybe I could grab a 6 o clock flight to Manchester and still make it though (if we get there that is).
  10. 0-1 Man U Who else but Ronaldo...what a header!!!
  11. I'd love to go, with or without a ticket, but I have an exam on the 14th of May which finishes at 17.30, so getting to Manchester in time would be very, very difficult.
  12. Clean sheet is vital for this one. If we can take 1 or 2 goals over from this leg I think we wil have a very good chance of going through.
  13. He should be back this weekend .
  14. Definelty Danny, or maybe not even next month, but May as well. Which is why I'm saying we need to keep it up since its going to be just as hectic if not more so! I just wanted to highlight why way things have gone so far in the run in and compare the results with with was being said at the start of the month. Still a long way to go though...
  15. Cast your minds back to the start of the month when the media were blabbing on about how hectic Rangers' March fixture list was with 8 games in the space of 4 weeks and how difficult it was going to be for us. Now, upon reflection of our results, only 1/2 results didn't go as planned, with defeat in Bremen away (which doesn't even matter since we got through) and drawing at home to Patrick Thistle in the Scottish cup (but again, at least we're still in it). So, to be honest, it couldn't have gone much better, and for that I think the team deserve a lot of praise. However, we still have a lot of games to play from now until the end of the season, it may not be pretty most of the time, but this team has a lot of character and that can go a long, long way at times. As Walter says we have just got to keep going and fight for everything, and I personally can't wait for the visit of Sporting on Thursday night! Compare that with Celtic's record in March, where they won just 2 games (away to Hibs and Gretna). The momentum is with us, we just need to keep it.
  16. According to Radio Scotland, todays booking earns Thomson a three match suspension. Sure? He's not had as many bookings as Brown yet.
  17. Donati: "Whats that Skip?! Trouble down the Copland end?! That Boruc is at it again!?"
  18. WGS: No Monster Munch for you two shitters!!! Both: Awwwww
  19. As I said earlier... I'm sick of hearing about this "penalty" claim already. If it were given it would have been unbelievably soft. Obviously there was now enough contact on Brown to prevent him getting his shot in, therefore he wasn't impeded and it is NOT a penalty. Brown wasn't even complaining about it. Soft grapes and bad losers Celts. Grow up...
  20. Could watch that all day... ...so I'm gonna!
  21. "...home of Rangers FC", it said.
