Thomson and McCulloch should never play in the same midfield. -

Never a penalty FFS -
Me, Liam and another mate just won 10 Sabotage matches in a row before calling it a night. What a difference having a few people using headsets and helping each other out makes.

These tims won't shut up about Boyd
BasileBoliSoup replied to BasileBoliSoup's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
If it was for just Rangers games, Boyd would win hands down as the ratios above show. If this was worked out then he would win by an even bigger margin. But there's no point really in doing it, Boydy has the record and that's all that matters. -
Was that when he went on a run without scoring?

Aye and the amount of times he is substituted off the pitch as well. If we were to get the amount of minutes they have both played and work out the minutes/goals ratio that would be the only way to prove who had the best ratio, but who the fuck is going to do that. Who cares anyway, Boyd has the record. -

That's exactly it mate, they're all on saying that he has no ambition if he doesn't move. The truth is they will all be glad to see the back of him, just like I was when Larsson went. This is almost 2 weeks since he broke the record and they are still going on about it, that's just about all the phone-ins have been about. -
On the phone-ins they won't shut up because he has beaten Larsson's record, so I did a few calculations to see how their ratios compare. This is for all league goals and not just the SPL, it includes 1 season of Scottish Premier Division for Larsson, and Boyd's statistics are only for Rangers. Larsson Games : 221 (3 as sub) Goals : 173 Ratio : 0.7828 Boyd Games : 130 (24 as sub) Goals : 97 Ratio : 0.746 However if you treat sub appearances as .5 of a game (they are less than that in reality) then the stats are like this: Larsson Games: 219.5 Goals: 173 Ratio: 173/219.5 = 0.788 Boyd Games: 118 Goals: 97 Ratio: 97/118 = 0.822 Take into account that Boyd is also substituted off the park far more than Larsson ever was. What do you think of these, do you think they would be discredited because you can't put a value like 0.5 on sub appearances?

Remember that from the 'Rangers Gold' video - would love to see that again. got that up in the loft somewhere!! Can't find mine anywhere, they should release it on DVD, it was a brilliant introduction to our history for me as a youngster.

Never Give Credit To Anything Celtic
BasileBoliSoup replied to minstral's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Exactly, and to give you an idea of the strength of THAT competition, LINFIELD reached the quarter-finals the year the filth won it. Really, they won fuck all, as their goals in the final both had players in offside positions. Tainted silverware for a tainted club. And they're probably all gay too. -
What tops from this season do you have?
BasileBoliSoup replied to ofb1988's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I usually get all 3 but this year I've not got any Wore last seasons away s/s for the Old Firm as my home one's like a tank top now. -
Brings so much more to the team than just his defensive qualities, if he goes I doubt we will win the league

Amazing site mate, sent you a wee donation.

So many positives from yesterday.
BasileBoliSoup replied to OlegKuznetsov's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Great result considering the circumstances. With Miller, Bougherra and Beasley out the only player with any pace was Novo but he had to come off early. Our great play recently has been built around quick, attacking football but with the players available this was not possible. Wee Nacho would also have been a huge help against Aids, as he struggles against players with pace. -
What's so special about 23 members of Rangersmedia?

When do you get your numbers, bought 2 strips the other week? -
I was saying this to my bro at the game on Weds night. That is his natural position , he's not as quick as Kenny but is bigger and Walter obviously has confidence in him after selecting him for the last one.

Letting John Fleck go out on loan?

We need guys like him to rotate into the squad in case of injury/suspension/loss of form but hes doing nothing when in the team Played out of position -
Letting John Fleck go out on loan?
BasileBoliSoup replied to billythebear1986's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Would keep him and possibly even play him up front with Boyd tomorrow so that we are not changing a winning team too much. This would allow Lafferty and Novo (if fit) to stay on the wings. -
Thought it was good and obviously we were going to get it tight because of the financial situation. Some folk need to lighten up a bit, to be offended by this just makes you look like a MOPE.
-
The team we put out will be different to the one that has been getting these great results. Bougherra and Miller have been 2 of our most important players in this run, without them I feel this game could go either way. If they were playing I think we would win no problem, I'll wait until I see the team before I make any predictions.
-
What you doing for the bells Kyle? I think it's unfair to judge him playing out on the wing, wee Nacho is built like a winger and has pace so it is easier for him to adjust. I'll wait until he has had a run of games up front, constantly played out of position after coming back from injury, which is unfair on him. Was at the game last night and although he was frustrating to watch, the boos and abuse he got was uncalled for.

Should have done better but it took a bad deflection.
