The debt must surely be in the mid to low £20m mark after reducing the squad by about a dozen first team players and Champions League money gained this year.

We have gained Champions League money and all the TV money (£5m?) for it this year, reduced the wage bill by about £6m, took in about £3.5m in transfer fees and look like getting straight into the group stages again. Surely our debt must be reducing significantly, why are Lloyds being such cunts?

He's starting to show why he is so highly rated. Still only 18 and is only going to get better and better, hopefully he signs a new deal soon.

I dont think we were touting any players around trying to sell them but if a club comes in with an offer of over a million for a player who's position we have a lot of cover for (davis, mcculloch, thomson, edu) then there's not a lot walter smith could have done. I know he said it wasnt the banks decision but he would be under a lot of pressure to explain himself if he turned down £1m for somebody in their 30's then didnt play him all the time. I think that Mendes would have played when fit but if we use the money saved to get new contracts for Fleck, Boyd and Wilson then I'll stop moaning.

This is what pissed me off, more than no-one being signed on loan.

We've carried Mendes wages all seaosn with nothing to show for it - why keep him? Mendes is NOT equivalent to Davis - he has never been a box to box midfield dynamo, creating and scoring goals. He was, increasingly, more of a sitting midfielder - of which we have THREE on our books right now - so i am really not worried by him leaving Indeed im hopeful the freed up wages could go towards keeping Fleck, Wilson and Boyd among others. The other 3 don't often pick out a defence splitting pass, Mendes would have thrived in the team when Boyd, Miller and 2 wingers were being used imo. Anyway I'm calming down now, just hoped we would have at least one loan signing coming in. We should have been enquiring and researching possible targets. With two of the high earners away, I don't think it was too much to ask.

What good signings have they made ? Ki, Kamara and Braafheid, the rest I don't know anything about. the word you are looking for is "potentially" DECENT signings mate. Not good. Unproven! Plus, the "team" is even more unsettled. They were that far behind us before, now what, they are just shite instead of "really shite"? Nothing to fret about, not for me anyway Still think we will win the league if we keep the majority of the team fit, just think we are taking a big risk.

Who says they are good? I think its more than acceptable mate. Or do you just want anyone in so we signed someone? Perhaps, since we have bought shite in the past using that attitude, this is the best thing. We are better than them, our main challenge looks like being Hibs, and, we spanked them last time. Whats to worry about? Christ, monkeyheid could buy great players, he still cant put a functioning team on the field. We are spending less, and getting the job done. Then, come the summer, champions league coin, and, perhaps then we can look to buy properly, not just for the sake of it. Am far happier we havent rushed out and bought another rothen or capucho, or maniero Kamara will cause SPL defences problems with his pace and strength, Ki is technically very good from what I've seen of him, and Braafheid is a pacy full back who should be an improvement on Naylor and Fox. The thing that has annoyed me most is the sale of Mendes, we were told no-one needs to be sold and then this happens. Yes we have done well without him, but what if Davis is injured? We should have had a plan in place with a few targets in the event of losing someone imo.

Unacceptable if we don't strengthen at all. We cut the squad by about 10 in the summer and now sell one of our better midfielders, as well as getting rid of the only signing we've made in 18 months. This squad will be pushed to the limit and I'm now starting to get a bit worried as the scum are making good signings. Does the board and management think that this is acceptable just because we are sitting 10 clear? It's a risk we shouldn't be taking imo.

We'll need to see how their new signings do, but it's in our hands and we can only throw this away.

We will need a few good loans in as the scum are strengthening. They may be getting rid of players who have been over the course in the SPL, but a few of their signings, particularly the ones that will be concluded today, are of a good standard.

Got the full game and loving it. Can see me jumping between MW2 and this, they have pulled it off and I have to admit I'm quite surprised.

I've downloaded it but not tried it, there's another expansion coming out next week I think.
