  1. You seem fixated by the fact i hold a "position". All be it one that you don't understand. Am i to assume that because i am Director is means that i cannot hold an opinion that is different from yours? Are you really trying to tell me that? Saying i am not fit to hold this position, despite not knowing anything about me or what i do for the site, makes you sound like a complete moron. That comment is entirely below the belt.
  2. Of course not, you are completely missing my point. You don't like the football hooligsnism side to football, that is fair enough. Most people feel the same. But Bear wasn't coming onto this thread to shout about being a hooligan and how great he is because of it, he's giving advice to his fellow fans about what to expect on the day of the game and how to avoid trouble. That includes fans like yourself who want nothing to do with it. So the abuse you are giving him is completely unwarranted. If Rangers fans want to take to the streets and protect their own when the Utd casuals inevitably try and cause trouble then fair play to them in my opinion. The point about fans who don't sing is used to illustrate a part of football that i detest, absolutely hate. But i'm not going to go around slagging people for doing it.
  3. Me. To prove the point that we all don't like some aspects of football culture, but i certainly won't slate those who wish to participate in it. It's called respect.
  4. I don't think there is a place in football for people who don't sing at the matches. I'm also not a fan of hooliganism either, but on the basis of this thread i know who i'd rather have on my side should i be attacked.
  5. To be perfectly frank, the day i look for respect from a faceless poster on the internet is the day i give up on football.
  6. No, because you were having a go at another Rangers fan. Bear has only come onto this thread to give advice to Rangers fans for the next Utd game at Ibrox, not to cause trouble or dish out insults. To be honest, the so-called "thug" has shown a hell of a lot more dignity in this thread than you have. Like i said, if you don't like the nature of this thread then go and discuss something else. You would have known from the opening post what it would contain.
  7. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Bear is a die-hard Rangers fan who does things at the football that most people would frown upon. That is his personal choice, and he should be allowed to speak about it as much as you should be allowed to speak about your experiences of going to Ibrox and sitting on your hands for 90 minutes, as that is your choice. If you don't like his opinion or the nature of this thread then leave it alone, don't start handing out insults over the internet.
  8. Bear, for once i completely agree with you here mate. Rangers fans have never allowed opposition firms to march freely through Glasgow without being challenged. That day was a one-off, partly due to a mistake by the ICF and partly due to the majority of the support not expecting it. This time will be completely different, although there is no chance that MiB will try the same thing again, they will go another route.
  9. Eh.....what? I said it doesn't strike me as one Walter has planned, meaning it has been a spur of the moment signing. What on earth has that got to do with fucking Hearts?
  10. Exactly what does Ricky Foster offer Rangers? We have better players in the U19s who now won't get a chance. First poor signing we have made, this doesn't strike me as being one that Walter has planned.
  11. That's me sorted. Man Utd - Nithsdale bus (hopefully) Valencia - Official day trip Bursaspor - Official overnight
  12. 1'250. Spot on Casey. Is this an advantage or disadvantage for Indy travellers?
  13. This the same hard men that hid behind the coppers when they got the first sign of resistance? Selective memory can be a dangerous thing. You not remember getting a Police escort down Paisley Road West for your own safety? Twat.
  14. Hmmm, not sure. Is there not a minimum percentage of the capacity that away fans need to be offered in UEFA competition? I'm sure there is but i can't remember the figure.
  15. Welcome to the site guys, glad to have you. I'll be travelling over in December for the game. Do the Bursaspor Ultras, Teksas, have any political leanings? Seen some videos of them over the years and they have produced some incredible displays. Will be nice to see them in action. Also, where would you recommend for away fans to go on the day of the game for a drink or ten?
  16. I'm going to wait for Thomas Cook and Flight Options to announce their prices and then possibly look at going indy if they are too steep. Can only see us getting about 2-3'000 tickets for this one.
  17. Struggle to see why anyone wants Man Utd to be honest. It would be the worst trip possible. We'll be bussed into some shitty wee town like Bolton and kept there for the entire day before being bussed to Old Trafford and sent back up the road straight after the game. Give me a Continental trip any day over that pish.
  18. To be fair, we'd be doing the exact same if one of our best players refused to play for the club and wanted to move elsewhere. Can't really blame them for being so angry.
  19. Think there is about 50 going from Bishopbriggs, full bus. Mad Dog Loyal!!
  20. Bunch of power-hungry wankers who think that because they wear a flourescent jacket means they are above everyone else. They've been getting gradually worse over the last few years and the worst part is that people are actually intimidated by them.
  21. Another season is upon us so i guess it is time to give this thread a wee bump with the bus times. Usual time tomorrow for our first outing to Ibrox of the season. Sure to be a busy bus so get there before the regulars stagger out of the pub and you might get a seat. 1:45 from Eagle Lodge then onto The Crow.
